USPS is committed to providing secure, reliable, and affordable delivery of mail and packages to more than 157 million addresses in the United States, its territories, and its military bases worldwide. Processing and delivering 47 percent of the world's mail, USPS manages over 30,000 retail locations and constantly innovates to make customer experiences better. The local USPS branch is described as a satisfactory one, with customer service that is no-frills civil. Customers can mail packages, buy stamps, and be on their way, with the postmasters not bothering to care more or less. While the service is unassumingly mediocre, the employees are generally nice and likely doing their best. Some customers have experienced issues, such as a delayed address change form and the branch closing earlier than desired, especially for those who work out of town. However, other customers have praised the front desk workers as very kind and helpful, particularly with processing large volumes of certified letters. Overall, the USPS branch provides a reliable, if not always exceptional, service to the community, with some areas for improvement in terms of customer experience and convenience.
