“I went in this store today for the first time. I'm not Hispanic so I don't really know all the names of the food's but they were very nice and gave me a lot of info on food's. They also had some freshly cooked meat. And hot corn tortillas. When I got home. It was really good. I will definitely be returning to this store in the future.”

“The deli lunch is awesome, and for the price it gets 8 stars! The nice young lady that helped me was friendly and nice! The young man however could have had a little better customer service when dealing with the lady with special needs, it only takes a little kindness to go a long way.”

“Whenever I feel like I need to slow down and skip the trip to the busier side of town, where people tend to be rushed and rude, I come here to the great local establishment of Compare Foods.
It’s where I can find everything I need to feed my family while staying on a budget.
I get to avoid the traffic light that takes forever.
I get to avoid the stares and discomfort that come with being somewhere you don’t always feel welcome.
And I never have to worry about running out of essential items when I need them most.
This part of town might seem less bright, less fortunate, or just “not right” to some people.
But what many don’t realize is how long this store has been here, quietly providing for a community that’s been struggling just like everyone else.
During the last winter storm, I saw and heard how people were running out of essentials at big corporate stores like Walmart, Food Lion, and Publix.
I don’t have the means to buy meat and groceries in bulk. But every time I’ve had just enough to treat my family to a decent piece of meat or fresh vegetables, they’ve always had what I needed in stock, and for far less than what most people pay elsewhere.
No long walks across massive parking lots.
No crowded aisles.
No standing in endless checkout lines just to sit back in traffic again.
Call it what you want, but supporting local businesses will always have its advantages.
And this is my way of saying thank you.
Thank you for always saying hello.
Thank you for knowing what the community needs.
Thank you for being there when times are hard”

“The store itself is great but my mother and I tried to have lunch there today and got sesame chicken and fried rice and it was horrible. The chicken tasted burnt and nothing like sesame chicken and the rice was terrible. We took 2 bites and thru it away. What a waste of money.”
