“I can't thank Charles enough for the great service he provided and his promptness. Our church youth group recently went on their youth retreat and the vehicle they were on wouldn't start due to the battery being bad. Being over four hours away, my husband could not get there to help them in a timely manner. I looked for 24 hour services for the area and Wrenchworks popped up! Having good reviews, I gave Charles a call. He was quick to answer and was at the vehicles location within 15 minutes of letting him know the situation. He was able to change the battery out and have them on their way all within 45 minutes of getting the call that the car wouldn't start. If you are in the Boone area and need anytype of mechanical help, I highly suggest Charles! We couldn't be more appreciative of his service that night.”
“Picture this: Friday at 5pm, 3 hours from home, our car breaks down., and the tow truck can't get to us for 3 hours!!! We called Phil's service. He not only answered the phone but through a series of phone calls was able to tell my husband how to fix the transmission and get us on our way. He was kind, compassionate, and very friendly. “I had a broken wire on my starter which was fixed in under 30 minutes for a very reasonable cost. Conincidentally, when I tried to leave the shop my alternator had stopped working. Jon helped me diagnose it and charged up my battery so I get home. Highly recommend!”

“We bent our Jeep’s steering tie rods while in Banner Elk. Several locals recommended Jimmy at the Exxon station. Reading all the reviews I can now see why. He had us parts and repaired in a few days. The price was very fair and so grateful for Jimmy and the staff for helping us out so quickly. Just an fyi I did need a front end alignment after this type of steering linkage work and they do not have this capability at this garage.”

You don't find many shops as honest as this one not only is there work perfect but they are the most honest and trustful mechanics I've ever dealt with when I bring my vehicles here I can have a peace of mind that it's fixed correctly and the problem solved if i broke down 200 miles from home id have my vehicle towed to there shop no kidding I won't take my vehicles anywhere else”
“I called out of the blue and even though I hadn't been in a long time AND Greg was about to go on vacation, he said to swing by and he'd use the diagnostic. Well, it showed I needed a spark plug and coil which I bought at Nappa (also the best most helpful lowest prices parts store), went back to Good Guys and Greg kindly put it in right there in the lot for $20!Now a customer for life! I also appreciate that he allowed me to buy and bring my own part.”

“Had ToyotaCare service done on my 2023 Camry recently. It's nice knowing that Toyota has this service in place for new car owners for 2 years. Modern Toyota of Boone has a clean dealership with friendly staff. They send texts/videos during the service process to keep you on the loop while your vehicle is in the service department. Glad to have this dealership close by.”

“i come here to get safety/emissions test all the time. they use to make apts but now it’s only from 8-11 and 2-4 on weekdays. i’m ok with that because everytime i’m there they aren’t that busy. usually i’m in and out within a hour, would recommend”
