“I didn't expect much looking at the outside of the building. But the inside was awesome. They had many booths with very nicely arranged displays, and they also decorated it for Christmas! I could have spent all day there. I'll have to go back again. Found several items I am glad I didn't pass up!”

“Dan and Stacey have truly carved out their own niche. At first glance, The Farmers Wife may appear to be a beautifully curated shop and florist, but it is so much more. Nestled in a charming hometown setting, this establishment is truly one of a kind. When you're in need of something exceptional, this is the place to visit. The team is enthusiastic about discussing your projects and providing distinctive, creative solutions. I am a frequent patron of both their antiques and florals, and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They are truly in a league of their own.”

“Very nice collection of various artsy items in a cool environment. Food, drinks, indoor seating and an outside patio if that's your preference. It takes quite some time to explore all the nooks and crannies so figure on spending a half day there!”

“Great place to visit and see what all is there. They even have fresh farm raised produce and goods now. Stop in and take a trip in time. Not many things like this any more.”

“Kathee and Gail out do themselves every year! I’ve been traveling to they’re BEAUTIFUL Red Barn with my sisters for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. Visiting this special place sets the tone for my Holiday season and each time I come away with Heirloom quality pieces to add to my Christmas collection. This year in particular I purchased a small wooden sleigh from Germany. I plan to dress it with fresh greens and place it atop my great room built-ins. They stock an amazing collection of French zinc pales and planters, gorgeous French baskets in all sizes, Imported linens, glassware, bread boards, dough bowls and much much more. It’s one of those places that you can circle around over and over and find something new to look at each time. These women are uber helpful and you can shop photos posted on Instagram and they even ship… if you can’t make a show in person. Follow them on Instagram @thefrenchfarmerswife… you won’t be sorry!”

“We are absolutely in love with the addition of this beautiful desk to our home. The staff was very timely, professional and courteous via communication regarding the process of reserving and coordinating pickup of the piece. From the time we arrived at the store, both Gordy and Carolyn were exceptionally welcoming and we engaged in great conversation as we loaded and secured our furniture. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. We enjoyed our visit so much that we actually left with an additional item at a great, reasonable price. Totally worth a visit if and when you are ever in Greensboro, NC.”

“Wow!! I visited the Carriage House for the first time yesterday. What a beautifully merchandised collectibles and antiques shop. I have shopped so many antique and consignment shops in Greensboro, but I have never been here before. Firstly, it is not consignment. There are individual dealers in separate booths. It is a bit more consistently upscale then the other places I have been to, but that does not take away from the sheer pleasure of browsing. I would say it is moderately priced items and not the type of antique shop you are afraid to bump into something for fear of damaging something irreplaceable. I guess it really depends on your pocket book. Something's I found very affordable, something's were just out of my reach. They have smalls, furniture, decor and lovely oil paintings. I love ceramics so I enjoyed looking at lovely plates and colorful ginger jars. Wherever you looked, there was something interesting to see. The dealers just have magnificent taste in their collections and in how they merchandise their wares. There is a large parking lot in front. Just go and have fun. That's what we did!”
