“Roses is a North Carolina based store with it's roots in Littleton. I didn't know this until I saw this small store while driving to a work destination and remembered there used to be a few of these in Wilmington so I had to check it out. Roses Express is "basically a smaller, condensed Roses" was the answer I received when I asked locals about it. I found a super nice and cute step stool for $3.99 regular price and while that was about it (despite a few things catching my eye at the same price point like the original 2020 Kelly Toy "Olaf" Squishmallow, some 'new', old stock He-Man figures from a few years ago and of course lots of staples like laundry care and school supplies. The reason for the 4 stars was the awesome staff- I was greeted by each person and even though I was one of the only visitors at the time, they still took the time to stay up front and engage in conversation, offer to help and even discuss other local events. I will visit again when traveling through just because it seems like a store that has hidden treasures on the right days!”

“I love the DG...Always Great Staff... I do have a problem with advertized savings and then don't get my discount at Checkout.. Marboro's advertized at a 1.30 off any 2 packs and I only got .25 off each pack..I'M buying 4 packs every day and that adds up to quite a bit of money...”
“Lots of home decor items- frames, blankets, kitchen and bathroom towels, hampers, soap dispensers, etc. Also has gift bags, tissue paper, craft supplies, cups, reusable water bottles, soaps and other toiletries, nail polish, makeup, earphones/ear buds, small toys, seasonal decor, snacks, non perishable food, socks, t-shirts, and more.”
“My favorite dollar general. The employees have the job of stocking as well as running the register and they do a wonderful job of getting to the front as soon as a customer steps up to the counter. These employees work hard and make for such a wonderful shopping experience.”
“One of 3 dollar generals in sneads ferry, I feel like this one is more beach oriented toward the summer months than the other locations in the ferry. If its sold out of what you need because its busy dont worry check out the other 2 stores and there you should find what your looking for.”
“I absolutely love my local dollar tree. This place always has the kindest staff that are willing to help you search for what you are looking for. This location is in a pretty dense area of Hampstead so items do sell out quickly but they typically recover and will have the next seasonal items out to fill in the baron areas. Not to mention their craft section is on point and constantly has fun activities for adults and kids to do.”

“I was at this store yesterday. Only 2nd time there. And Heidi was so very kind as a cashier to the couple in front of me. Since they were new to area and have young son, she invited them to her daughter's birthday party happening today. Her joy ? just warmed my heart ❤️ and I am bringing back a plant ? to her this week. She was great for telling the couple of great places in Surf City to take their son. We need more Heidi's”
