“This was our fist stay at the Sea Vista, but it will definitely NOT be our last!

Staff in the front office was chill and friendly. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable!

Beyond that, the views and access to the beach were absolutely perfect. It’s nothing fancy but we brought food and cooked in the room which saved us a ton of money. What a great quiet place to stay.

If you’re looking for lots of people and extra things to do, this might not be for you. However, if you’re looking for a relaxed, chill beach getaway you can’t miss this place!”

“The only issue for service was when ordered food from grill they did not use gloves. There was a box of gloves by grill but did not use them. Other than that everything was great.”

“I’ve been coming to N Topsail for years and have been eyeballing this hotel/motel in Surf City for the location.
Finally booked this year, called early because we were checking in after 5. (Front desk is closed after 5) .. I was given directions to get into our room. When we arrived I wasn’t sure if the code provided was the door code or the lock box code by the directions I was given. I couldn’t get the lock box open -My fault- I called the number provided and no answer. My husband was able to open the box and get us in the room. After traveling several hours it should be understandable that I didn’t want to figure out anything for myself.
One of the ACs was extremely loud throughout our stay, it barely maintained the room. Of those 2 minor inconveniences, we had such a great time that it was imperturbable with our stay that’s why I still give this place 5 stars.

When I think of a beach motel this is it. A little outdated but very well maintained, clean and quiet. The room was extremely cozy. My girls stayed in the extra bedroom and say this is their new favorite place to stay. We were able to walk to get food, ride bikes and walk across the street to the beach. The pool was never overcrowded. I absolutely loved the picnic tables outside the rooms and the rocking chairs in the front. I also requested a downstairs room during online booking and they accommodated my request.”
