“Fort Dobbs Hardware is a family owned Hardware store that has everything you need for your Home and garden. There is most definitely anything needed at this Great Hardware store. There is also Super Nice Shoe Department with many different types of shoes and work boots. I highly recommend this Fort Dobbs Hardware Store in Statesville on Highway 21.”

“I have been wanting to visit for years. So glad I finally had a chance. D E Turner & Co. Hardware was like stepping back in time. I’m not sure just how much hardware they offer but they had vintage and antique vendors mixed in.
I met one of the owners, whose father took over from the original owner. He pointed out the history and it is worth checking out!
I also went upstairs and found all things Christmas and felt nostalgic.
I highly recommend a visit!

“I called about propane - asked if they had either tank exchange or offered filling of tanks. Mike answered and said they don’t have any propane. Although they did not have any propane, and I’m pretty sure he said they don’t offer any propane, Mike was very polite.
So as of January 23, 2026, Ferguson does not have propane. Google seems to think they do. They might want to change the keywords and hashtags to avoid unwanted calls.
We purchased two brand new toilets from them in the past and they were great to deal with.”

And plus if your riding around with one of your furry pets you can give them a bath for cheap . Now you CANT BRING SKUNK SPRAYED DOGS . They have signs on the door for that reason.”

“I was to attend a wedding reception not far away from this store on Saturday. On the way in to the reception, my daughter got the heel of her shoe caught in a crack in the pavement and broke the heel completely off. As the bride was a friend of hers, I gave her my shoes and took the broken shoe back to the car to see if I could figure out a way to make a temporary repair. I ended up at this store. I must certainly have looked ridiculous dressed up and hobbling into the store wearing one high heel and one shoe with no heel at all. The people working could not have been more helpful. I was escorted to glue aisle and got help reading labels and considering relative drying times and how long it would take me to have viable footwear. Instead of ruining my evening, the shoe incident made my day.”
