Tom came right by the next day and fixed everything! My area is not the best and actually it's pretty bad, so a cell signal is also hard to come by. They have many happy clients and if you do not have tall trees in your yard then you probably have great service.

Velocity Broadband was the only internet provider in my area. Even though there have been times where internet connection failed, I almost had no problems with speed. I also understand that there were times where the weather was at fault. Customer service was friendly, and overall we appreciate the internet service that was provided to us.

Service outages are routine and you can only request help during business hours. Internet routinely goes out at night and multiple times during the day making remote work/school difficult. There is no system monitoring so company relies on customers to call if one of their towers goes down.

We've been with velocity broadband for years. We were so thankful to have them as an option as we live out in the country and cable internet is not available. Yes, there have been technical issues through the years, but the customer service has always been superb. I've occasionally had to leave a message, but most of the time the phone is answered. I would highly recommend their service for those who live in rural areas. We had briefly tried satellite service before finding Velocity, but there were data caps that got hit quickly. There is no cap with velocity. Our service is typically strong enough to stream Netflix on 2 devices at a time.

CONSTANTLY poor service. Customer Service does NOTHING but threaten to TAKE my internet away. Back in my day companies PROVIDED reliable services with EXCELLENT human relations. Extremely disappointed with how this country's ethic is VANISHING!!!! Will NEVER talk to Renee again!!!

Edit: Even though our service isn't the best. I understand that they can't upgrade the tower currently. Talked to their service guy and he was polite and gave me recommendations for other services.

If I could, I would give ZERO stars. I guess having a monopoly emboldens certain people to the point where customer service and gratitude mean nothing. In my business, I appreciate every single customer and the hard earned money they spend with me. This company operates with complete lack of appreciation and the type of arrogance that can only come from knowing the customer has no alternative. Rather than focus on delivering quality service and value, this company will take your money and threaten to cancel your service if you don't like the way they treat you. What a shame and so short sighted. Competition will eventually come and my prediction is that this company will be no-longer. Really too bad.

I’ve been a Velocity customer for years. While the product itself has it’s limitations and hasn’t always been perfect, the customer service I have received has been terrific. Tom has made repeated trips to my house to work on issues and has always been very professional. The service is dependent on many things that are outside the control of the company and therefore service is dropped on occasion ( heavy rain or storms, snow for instance), but if you’re in a rural area that can’t get standard high speed internet I would definitely recommend this company.

Great service! Only one available in my area that had true high speed internet. Consistent fast speeds and good service. They utilize unique technology that is ideal for rural areas. I tried other vendors and no one has been able to compete with velocities service. Highly recommended!
