“I absolutely love love this place. Everytime I'm downtown I have to make my way to here. The people who run it are absolutely a pleasure to deal with. You can't go inside one time and see everything there's so much stuff to see! They have a Sarge's booth also for your furbaies! Definitely check it out!”

“Carol and Justin helped me find our new sofa and loveseat — purchased today and excited to go pick it up this weekend! Carol quickly greated us with a smile when we walked in, asked what we wanted to see, and spent time feeling out what it was we were looking for and recommended a great set to us. My mom went shopping with me today and my husband was not present. Justin was kind enough to model for us so that we could make sure my husband could fit comfortably on the furniture. They were so kind, not pushy, and helped us find what we were looking for. I wasn’t looking for a kitchen table, but may be back for one as I passed by a few I liked! I recommend working with Carol, she knows her stuff! The website is a little confusing and doesn’t do the business justice, definitely worth going inside and shopping!”

“High Country Furniture & Design installed Hunter Douglas Duette blinds for us back in 2020 and somebody broke one last month. I called to find out the protocol for replacing it, and Angela there was extremely helpful. I easily got it sent for repair and back again in time for a houseful of company to arrive! The sun will not be awakening my guests in that room at daybreak, whew! She communicated with me often through the whole process and I could not be more grateful. Well done High Country.”

“The store had the largest selection of furniture downtown. It was a little overwhelming and tight to maneuver around in some areas. Pricing was high on some items in comparison to other Waynsville options. I can say you would more than likely find the item furniture or decorative that you are looking for.”
