I have been going to Weaverville ingles for over 30 years. I like it now but use to love it when Steve Crawford managed it. Since he retired a lot has gone downhill. I buy organic and I specifically want organic. They try to put regular product in organic slots. Of course I know organic codes so I can double check. It frustrating. The product section is the worst. The meat section is bad to. Most of the time if you want meat cut they say their slicer is broke. The guy that was working the dairy was great. He asked if I needed help and even went in the back to look for an item for me. That's customer service. The precut meat and seafood section is also great. They know their stuff. They are very helpful. The manager of the whole store now is not much help. He speaks and helps you find something but the problem is he tells you he will order it and you never see it. If he couldn't get it for some reason he should let people know like Steve Crawford did. Me Crawford come out of retirement and manage ingles in weaverville again because I don't think they will find someone that measures up to your management skills.

Not ingles fault the gas price goes up. The employees work hard. They have cold drinks, candy bars, potato chips, and lots of chew gum.

I stopped to buy cold brew coffee at the Starbucks at Ingles supermarket in Weaverville North Carolina.I have a grandchild who we give the unadulterated cold brew to try reduce the symptoms of her ADD. I was told that I could not buy cold brew coffee without water or ice that it was against the North Carolina Liquor laws by Tracy Ponder. When I questioned Miss ponder closer she said it wasn't the liquor laws . I question Miss Ponder closer she said it wasn't the liquor loss it was a product liability issue. on question further she stated that it was so much caffeine that you couldn't buy cold brew without water or ice because it to get into much caffeine. That all this caffeine would be detrimental to your health.Explain to Miss ponder that I frequently bought cold brew from other Starbucks with no ice no water. My question was since the other Starbucks in the area I have been selling me cold brew without ice and water has my health been impacted?. My question was since the other Starbucks in the area I have been selling a cold brew without water or ice they may have impacted my healt. She states this is a proper product liability question. Once questionEd about the exact amount of caffeine the cold brew coffee had she was not able to answer any of those questions. If this is a product liability question one would seem that Starbucks would do some kind of posting to prevent a class action suit.. Is this just an issue where Miss ponder at Weaverville Starbucks just needs additional education?

Go to the Ingles store in Weaverville and then go to the Publix in Weaverville.Look at the store from in and outside, check out the parking lots.Look at checkout lines at both.Check out the Logo/sign of both. What store do you think has a better feel? They both have approx. the same prices, and sales. Then try the bakery items at Ingles and then at Publix. Then try the premade salads, Southern Style Potato, Macaroni etc. at Ingles then Publix.Did above and shop at the one I prefer.

Ingles seems to have difficulty with cash at the gas pumps. They accept cash but I find that I have to return to the Attendant several times to fill my car.
