Always love helping any way I can especially when I can empty stuff from my house for a good cause.2/22/22Today I went in to find a dresser. Found one in great condition at an amazing price. Ended up leaving with a few other goodies. They loaded the dresser in my car for me. Everyone working was extremely nice and polite. I love this store.”

“Super clean store interesting finds. Love the selection of dog related items. Got 2 harnesses and a shed mitt.. wish they had more dog clothes like I found last time, got a rain coat and a cute outfit for my daughter's doggos! Will be back reasonably priced!”

“I will post more photos after I go back. Imagine the inside of the WNC farmers market building, but much larger with labeled sections. Each section has its own unique artist or vendor boasting furniture, collectibles, artwork, decor and much more. The space itself is vibrant and a perfect place to cool off from the heat to walk around. This is definitely the place to look for non-traditional items to funkify your interior design. For reference, I am a mustard yellow rug, green velvet chair with a lava lamp kinda vibe. They also have elegant, classier items too. There's no inventory list online, you just have to go see yourself!”

“I visited today, Friday, Sept 13, 2024. The young lady working that checked me out was absolutely incredible. I was telling her how I had to say goodby to my pup on Wednesday due to a heart condition and she was the most compassionate and caring young lady I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. She took the time to pray with me and I left feeling incredible. I should have got her name and regretfully didn’t, but she is a true angel and a credit to the thrift store. This world definitely needs more people like her. Thank you is not enough for how she made me feel. Great job!

“Best thrift prices I’ve seen in Asheville - especially for books which I have a weakness for! Expect the inventory to change rapidly as it’s also a really popular spot. It was hot in there so be aware during the summer that you’re going to sweat. Proceeds go to rescue shelter which is awesome!”

“Five stars are not enough, We rented a 26 foot U-Haul and had trouble with the after hours check in , spoke with the main call center about the issue for what seems hours. So we decided to call the dealer at Martina’s on a Sunday and she not only had us in the truck check in but she took time to actually do it from her phone and walk us through the process in less than ten minutes. Ten stars ?”

“I absolutely love Goodwill.im there every weekend.. the retail store, and the one besides it, i mostly love going through the bins.. because you never know what you're going to find, the only thing I don't like is you can't always find the other pear to a shoes...there could be a lot better system then what they have... put all the shoes together, clothes with clothes etc etc it would also be easier for the employees to do it that way.. same thing with the retail store.. put t-shirts with t-shirts long sleeves with long sleeves, shoes with shoes and appliances with appliances... just make it more organized.. plus it would make more money for helping the resources of Goodwill... Everyone says they don't go to Goodwill because they're not organized.. and that's truly a shame because I find amazing things there.. I Mean even stuff with tags on them... but YOU shouldn't have to go to a store and look for hours. just wish they would make it more convenient for buyers.... #moreorganize”

“Went to the grand reopening!! Was thrilled that they have a new manager running things very smoothly and the store was very well arranged.
Definitely a breathe of fresh air in comparison to the management before. Was also glad to see familiar faces like the girl who puts the racks out. Checkout was efficient, and when I made donations the door guy was very kind and welcoming.
I was dissatisfied to see customers in there that have been caught stealing and changing tags before, back on opening day, and still doing things that have caused problems for staff and customers in the past. But unfortunately I feel like that is a corporate decision to keep allowing customers like that to return or maybe new management is not aware seeing as the previous management allowed it to continue even tho a customer and an employee were hurt because of their greediness over used clothing that they plan to resale.
Overall the store looked the best I've seen it in a long long time. So glad to have my local goodwil back again!”
