“Amazing! The BEST experience from purchase to delivery one could hope for. Add to this the factor that you dealing with a genuine family owned local business. Myth: The big box stores (and we are members of 2 of them) have better deals than a locally owned business. In the past we have purchased several large appliances from the giants. Recently, our Generac whole home generator came from COSTCO. However, when you factor into your purchase the service, after sale LOCAL support (no 800Menu nonsense) advice, and substantial rebates, buying from Atlantic Appliance is one of the easiest decisions you will make regarding major appliances. Our experience (briefly): Our salesman Carl directed us to the best deal available on a high quality GE Profile Dishwasher. He arranged for reasonable and reliable installation through a local plumber and took care of every detail. An issue arose on the day of delivery: The dishwasher model we ordered was discovered to be dented at the warehouse. We had both taken off from our volunteer duties at NHRMC in expectation of an 8AM installation. We were upset. What to do? Mark, the manager of Atlantic Appliance, did not hesitate to upgrade the model we paid for to the next level (a professional model) and still arranged for installation on the same day! Think you could get that from a big box store? Not a chance. By the way, when you call for service on a big box store purchase, who do you think they send? That's right - Atlantic Appliance!”
“Save yourself the time and frustration of dealing with a big box store. Island Appliance is locally owned, friendly and can give you great deals. I have bought appliances from them twice and never had an issue with anything I have bought. They deliver and set up and do not parcel it out to unknown third parties who might have just gotten out of jail, like some of the other stores. Love Island Appliance.”

“My husband and I were in the process of remodeling our home and needed all new lighting fixtures. After looking at fixtures online, I decided I needed to look at them in person. I was told by a friend that at Ferguson, to insure a one-on-one experience, it would be best to make an appointment, which I did online and was assigned Emily Kinney. When we arrived at our first appointment, we were slightly intimidated at the enormity of our project, but Emily quickly eased our minds. She was wonderful! She listened carefully to what we were looking for and when we had no idea of what we wanted, she made excellent suggestions. Her temperament was perfect for us. She is warm, has great taste, is easy going and never gave up until she found just the right options for us. It took us about three appointments to get our choices made. We even picked out all our kitchen and bathroom hardware. We are so thankful for Emily! Ferguson is very fortunate to have her! She made our experience 5 star! As we enjoy our beautiful lighting, we will remember Emily and our pleasant experience in picking it all out.”

During my 30 day warranty my washer was having some issues and I did not had the chance or time to take it to the wharehouse so I decided to pay $70 for them to fix and they were awsome! “The store itself if very good and has most everything one may need for DIY projects and basic household needs. The floor staff is very helpful and pretty much available when I have a question.
I did have a less than great experience with a recent order. The website showed free delivery however the customer service rep at the store said not so and charged me $79 to bring 45 2 CF bags of dirt one mile to my home. Then, after unloading the dirt, I called to have the pallet removed from my driveway. A very surley lady on the phone at the store told me that your store doesn't do that, leaving me with a pallet to dispose of when I know you reuse them. I will find a way to return the pallet to your store myself.”
“This establishment was excellent, both in selection of outdoor furniture, price and in the knowledge of the salesperson who I think was also the owner. We wanted four Adirondack chairs for our fire pit and he patiently showed us everything that was available and described the benefits of each. The best part was that what we chose was available in stock and we had it around our fire pit in two day's time!”

It has basically been the only task we have had in moving that went smoothly! The sales associate John was welcoming and informative, but not pushy or overbearing. The lady who handled the paperwork and delivery arrangements, Angel, was true to her name, as construction jobs at our home forced us to keep pushing back the delivery date, and she showed incredible patience with us and accommodated us. The delivery guys Dante and Brad came on time and worked hard not only to set up our furniture, but also to adjust a couple of things that were a little off. Finally, the prices were actually pretty good, too, and the furniture is comfortable. Thanks again to all of you. You have truly been a blessing!”
