“I was not sure I needed a synthetic oil change. It was 6 months but only 5,000 miles. They checked the oil and all the other liquids and put air in the tires and showed us the oil was stillclean. They said come back in about 3 months for complete oil change and have a good day!We were speechless! We will be back for sure!”

Absolutely 100% very satisfied with the customer friendly staff. I had several questions concerning the replacement and Jason Mills took the time to explain what the process. The lobby remodel is much more customer friendly and appealing. I will continue to be a devoted Black's Tire customer. Employees like Jason Mills who understand that not everyone knows the mechanical side of car care, reassured me that Blacks Tires is truly customer care focused!”

“Even in the worst weeks of my life, God always manages to turn a negative situation into a miracle. I had an incident where my breaks went out and my rotors were too grooved beyond repair. It was estimated cost to fix of: $500 at an anonymous shop. Instead of accepting that offer, I took matters into my own hands and found quality products at an O'Reilly's Auto store for $150. I needed to replace the front two breaks/break pads, and front two rotors. After purchasing the materials, I seeked an auto shop that could install them. I shopped around at five different shops, and the most amazing miracle happened. I was told by a maintenance man at UNCW that this place was the best place to go. Being a UNCW employee, I was very appreciative. The guys at Hughes Brother's Tire & Auto were absolute blessings. An act of God. They gave me a very affordable quote (much lower than anywhere I have been) and provided the most absolute best customer service. So, instead of spending $500, I only spent a total of $250 (for absolutely everything). I am so gracious for God's amazing blessings and the guys at Hughes Brothers. This is an absolute miracle. If I could rate this wonderful company more than five stars, I truly would. 5/5 stars.- Seth Rollins”

“One of the most excellent car repair experiences I’ve ever had. Was in town car shopping when my breaks all but failed. Had an inspection a few months ago and was told I could get a bit more out of existing ones, but I had heard some scrubbing sounds. Over the course of a few bocks while driving through downtown, the scraping worsened at stoplights and began to sound and feel like my car was breaking down. Happened to be near Economy Auto Service, so literally rolled into their lot at 6pm on Thursday evening not knowing a thing about them. I barely got out of my car when approached by a smiling mechanic (seriously, he saw my troubled expression and had the most warm, empathetic greeting)that I later understood to be the owner. I explained my situation, being nearly an hour from home with my family. He did a quick look and showed and explained that my breaks were dangerously worn. Without having to ask, he offered to stay late and replace them after finishing a car he was working on. He sent another employee to get the parts and I drove away just before 9pm with my car driving so much better. All three workers were nice, polite, and professional. There was even a picnic table and cold drink machine for our use while we waited. Nice to find people and places like this still exist!”

They treat you like family through and through. I have come multiple times for multiple issues with my 2 vehicles and I have left exceedingly satisfied every time. They are never to busy for you and they give you complete honesty. As a female out in the world, sometimes being ill knowledgable about cars can be frustrating, not knowing if you are getting taken advantage of. But, in my experience, Pat's has never been anything but helpful, kind, and trustworthy. He works at GE and gets off at 430 got to Market Street Tires around 320 gentleman had me in and out in no time when I explained to him what was going on. Unloaded and loaded tire for me. “This is the best Jiffy Lube I've ever been to! The staff was so warm and welcoming and handled everything that needed to get done on my car. The mechanic even found what looked like the beginning of a rodent nest being formed under the hood and he cleaned it out for me! I am impressed with this place. Jiffy Lube in the past at other locations in California have mostly been so-so, and the staff not very knowledgeable. These folks know what they're doing!”
