Disappointing for a while. Latest has been the 5 business days it will take for my merchant credit as verified by Truist. This is $83 only. They have the $ “it is processing” Are you kidding me? In the days of instant transfers and credits? Prior issues: No functional ATM for like a month when merging and very few tellers to help at drive thru and inside. Before that I called for a medallion signature made an apt at the only branch in town with it, drove across town 45 min thru traffic to be rudely told they would not do it. What an irritating bank. This behavior is what makes banks lose clients and fail.

I now understand all of the negative reviews for this branch. I tried to open an account online using an offer that Truist bombarded me with for weeks. I filled out the entire application and they asked me to come in to verify my ID. I came to this branch and waited for over an hour only to learn that they are unable to honor the offer. They showed no interest in helping me or keeping me as a customer. With so many banking options, why would I go to this bank that clearly does not want my business?!

I can not thank Tanya Mack enough. Today was the last day to fund my 401K and needed to do a wire transfer before 4:00. I got there around 3 and Tanya got it done in no time flat. So happy she was there to help me get this done!

I have called on Tuesday and twice on Thursday. No one has returned my call. I find the unacceptable . I have a mortgage on my home andI wanted to get some information on it. I am totally unsatisfied with the service.

Stopped by today after having consistent issues with my previous bank, (rhymes with Shells Shargo) banker Tanya Mack was very helpful. She answered all of my questions and helped with making decisions based on my needs. Highly recommend working with her and I hope to do so in the future. You’re the best Tanya!! Thanks ?

Everyone in this location is wonderful! Dom Mitchell helped me yesterday by patiently searching though 6 months of deposits till he found the information I needed. He was wonderful to work with and I appreciate all he did for me!

We went into the Mayfaire location to.get a check signed off on and were told by a woman who claimed to be the bank manager that the check had to be mailed to Atlanta to be signed. I know that Wilmington has several SunTrust branches, not to mention the state of NC. What an idiot.We went to another location and had no problem. The check was immediately signed. That was our first visit to the Mayfaire location and it will be the last.

From start to finish, Mrs. Suzanne Neblett did and exemplary job handling the entire mortgage process. We are grateful for all the hard work Suzanne put into securing our loan. She was organized, thorough and professional. She made sure we knew exactly what information was needed from the very beginning and if we had any questions, she was easy to contact and her response time was impeccable. Suzanne Neblett is an exceptional Loan Officer who is very helpful and knowledgeable with every step of the refinance process. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood the refinancing of my house and was very prompt when returning calls and relaying information and documents to me. I highly recommend Suzanne if your are looking for an outstanding and reliable person who cares about her clients!

We were lucky to have found Suzanne through a referral from family friends who had done a refinance with her earlier in the year. We actually had decided to meet with a few mortgage loan officers prior to selecting one and once we met Suzanne we knew right away that she was the one for us. She was very courteous and professional and was very upfront with us about options. She was also very responsive, and answered emails and texts in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend Suzanne for anyone needing a loan officers services.

Huge delays in processing. SunTrust has a history of shady lending practices, including charging a "racial surtax" and Class Action lawsuits for forcing families to sign insurance premiums at closing so they have no choice. They have been sued by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) multiple times in recent years. I was denied a Doctor's Loan (A special mortgage program for doctor's) the day after my proposed closing date, when I was reassured that we were on track to close the week before. As a result, I lost a house that I could have prepared and gotten another lender for if I had enough warning, lost my deposits on the house, incurred expenses of $5,000+ ,and was subject to several unprofessional discussions, including a breach of privacy of my financial information. Nick Lay and David Schnepp were party of the Suntrust team who I interacted with. Despite their apologies for the misunderstanding and errors in processing my application--they denied to take responsibility on behalf of their bank's mistake.
