About Freeman Round House
The Freeman Round House is a museum in a park setting that commemorates African American history in Wilson County. It contains slave artifacts and displays on local history. Visitors find the place absolutely amazing, very interesting, and informative. The staff are charming, gracious, and knowledgeable, offering tours of the house and grounds. The museum is also noted as a great place to perform with marvelous music. Parking is limited and GPS directions can be unreliable, so planning ahead is advised. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
