“I dined alone, so I had time to really take in the atmosphere. The dining room I was in seemed dull and claustrophobic. No real zeal to entertain the eye. I was seated at a 2 top shoved along the back wall. They had 2 tops that had booth seat facing the room. Having been sat at one of those would have helped with the closed in feeling.The service was impeccable. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this place is "hoity-toity" or pretentious. The food struggled with portion abundance. I would have been thrilled to have about 1/3 less brussel sprouts. Which are Effing PHENOMENAL! I ate about 3 too many, which pushed my taste buds beyond the relm of perfection and into "well, now, that's just oversalted." Difficult to not eat every morsel. I had to leave a few... sadly.Overall, the food isn't pretty, but it tastes exceptional.”

“Clean, well organized center for play! I attended my grandson's 4th birthday party. The party room was large. The inclusions were pizza from Marco's in Wilson, which was delicious. All of the children had a great time.”

“I want to personally thank Valarie the Manager at this Holiday Inn Express. After leaving my dentures in the room the staff said that they couldn't find them. After reading my previous review Valarie found them, she's shipping them back to me, I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and due diligence. She also informed me via email that the rooms will be getting an update beginning on July 5th. Mistakes happen and it's what you do that makes you either accountable or not! “I love the sunsets here. The patio in the back provides a little quiet from the busy streets in the front. You are literally .5 miles, within walking distance of everything from salons, restaurants, retail shopping, anything you can think of. Door Dash is amazing and super fast! The staff is great and always happy to help make your day! On the weekday, night shift, the front desk clerk knows the stuff! Goes above and beyond. Greets everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. Very knowledgeable of the business and what it takes to obtain success. Very valuable employee! I wish there were more that strive to improve and grow in this industry. Caring goes along way! ?”
