They said I could bring it by really quick and they would try to see what the issue was so that I could at least have peace of mind over the weekend (very kind, because I was freaking out.) They were able to very quickly diagnose the problem and even showed me what it was. They were also nice enough to fix it right then when they didn’t have to, at a very reasonable price. I wanted to tip them at the end of my service but was not able too because they dont allow tips with cards. So I do suggest something should be changed about that because that isnt fair to the employees. Especially after them doing such a good job.”

“This was my 1st time at Valvoline. I had previously been getting oil changes and maintenance at my KIA dealership. However, they are incredibly expensive.
I did some research on my own to find the highest rated place to take my car for oil changes and a few other things, and Valvoline was rated the best. So, I went to the one off of Robinhood Road here in Winston-Salem. I was greeted immediately, I was welcomed as a 1st time customer. Everything to be done was explained. The pricing was up front with no high pressure sales tactics at all. They even found a defect with a bolt under my car and replaced it, free of charge. I was given an overview of service when they finished and they made sure that I had no questions for them. I am definitely a new customer.”

“Icame in at 11:30 on a Saturday for an inspection. The gentleman who work here are exceptional. They could teach a workshop on customer service!! Shawn (the manager, I think) came out to my car immediately. I was finishing a phone call and he was patient and gracious. All four of the service technicians were kind, positive and engaging. (And it was a hot July day!!) They were fast and efficient. I highly recommend this business!!”

“I have been coming to this place for oil changes and inspections for years. The bad reviews do not make any sense to me because my experience has always been quick, easy and the work completed correctly. This shop is friendly, efficient and the price is right. Don’t expect a luxurious waiting room with sodas and snacks instead expect quick service with honest staff. I have NEVER been sold or attempted to be sold something for my car that it did not need. The free vacuum and windshield wash is a nice touch. They even send a follow up card with a coupon towards the next oil change. Hope this help.”

“The service was fine. I just have a problem with being talked down to by the service manager. When I talked to him about my oil filter, I was not being "cute" I was very serious and resent the condensation. It is very impolite to speak to women that way when they are discussing real issues about their cars.

“Took my vehicle to get an oil change today, I received courteous, expedient, and personalized service from this location. Dennis, the mechanic was extremely efficient, and I would like to shout him out!”
“I went to the service center at 2pm on Tuesday to get a new tire on my car. It was locked up so I went to customer service to find out what the hours were for the service center. No one knew. Skye was very patient, courteous and professional. I started calling Walmart at 7am Wednesday morning to make an appointment to get a tire on my car. I spoke to Skye 3 times and finally spoke with Mason about 9am. Mason checked to make sure they had the tire I needed before I made the almost hour long trip there. I showed up and Steve and Angel came out to check my tire. I asked Steve to keep me updated and let me know how much the tire would cost before they mounted it. As I was watching I saw Angel putting the new tire on the wheel but Steve hadn't come and told me how much it would cost. I told Mason about it so he checked for me. Steve never came back to talk to me. Mason was very patient and courteous with me. He went the extra mile. Angel was also very courteous and helpful when I pulled back around and had some questions.”
“Best prices in town for tires. Because of this, they are constantly busy and have some terrible wait times if you don't get there when they open. It's best to set up an appointment time. Doing so, guarantees a round about start time for your service.”
