The owner looked out for my specific need and with the help of a very knowledgeable technician figured out a very complex issue with my MKZ that I had pretty much given up on. I give them a 5 Star rating very easily for good work and stellar customer service.
August 6, 2024: I brought my 2008 MKZ in for what I thought was a water leak. This was a real duh moment for me...turns out the coolant reservoir had simply kicked out the excess and no leakage was found. I appreciate the honesty and stellar customer service. By the way I owe one of the techs an over due lunch for troubleshooting what I thought was a hopeless alternator situation. I will take care of this sir.”
“Mavis Tire on Fairlawn Court is a must visit! I usually deal with Discount Tire but Mavis had them beat this time! And they even carry the insurance on the tires now which NTB did not. I am a long-standing customer with Discount Tire but they did not have the tires that I needed in stock and the ones they did have the price was through the roof. I will be probably switching my business over to Mavis from now on. The lady at the front desk Miss Angie was a very big help. I actually called before I came and I thought the person I was talking to was in the store but they were actually somewhere in New York taking my order and the person I am I like face-to-face customer service. She was a very big help actually help me find a better tire for a better price that will last longer on my vehicle so thank you Miss angie! Mr Isaiah was able to lock the price down and make sure I got my 4 tires for a great great price I have already set my appointment for tomorrow to come get a four-wheel alignment! I am definitely dealing with Mavis Tire on Fairlawn Court from now on especially since they are down the street from my house!”

“I have been coming to Boyd's Tire Center since I had my first car, on a college student's budget. He always provide great service with an even better price. It seems that people sometimes get upset when they drive around back and see Mr. Boyd working on another car, because he is supposed to be exclusively working with theirs, ?.
He may or may not let you know the state of your old tire since you came to him in the first place. I just had to ask today. I didn't know one tire was down to the wire. The other, yes I felt the bump on the previous day when I turned on my street to go home. That red thing is a roofing nail, who knew? Mr. Boyd did, lol.

“Noticed car was leaking oil due to oil pan plug was loose and appeared to be stripped from last oil change. If unable repair, I knew this was going to be cost thousands due to the level of work and the holidays being here. My brother personally referred me to his favorite mechanic shop “Mock Tire Country Club”. After dropping my car off, Travis called an hour later to inform me of the issue, that it was successfully repaired, and it only cost $87 which was the cost of the oil change! I immediately said he was “THE MAN” and he said “make sure you tell that to my wife, lol!” Trust and believe when I arrived I did just that, Travis is “THE MAN”! I’ve found my new mechanic shop and Mock Tire Country Club just won over an another loyal customer! I’ll definitely be referring them to my family and most closest of friends! “Thoroughly impressed with this excellent tire and trailer service!! I was asked by my Fleet Manager, Reggie Roberts, to bring my truck to initially have a couple drive tires replaced, but due to their professional expertise and advise, they suggested all the drive tires be replaced. They explained why this needed to be accomplished, especially Kenneth, who I was initially impressed with because of his obvious intelligence and friendliness!! I also had informed them that the trailer brakes may need to be adjusted due to issues with moving the tandems on my last load run. They were able to quickly and efficiently find that there was a definite issue with the trailer brakes and that they would need to be replaced. What really impressed me was their attention to detail, obvious competence and the quickness of their work. They also had a very nice and comfortable waiting area that definitely was needed at the time. I hadn’t had much sleep due to my last run, but the environment was warm and inviting and allowed for me to have a chance to take a breather and relax for a few moments! Much appreciation and kudos to the entire staff that made my brief stay there an enjoyable and excellent experience!! Keep up the great work!!”

“UPDATE: The manager contacted me, and said this wasn’t handled correctly, and offered to cover the cost of the repair. I feel much more positive about this business now! I bought tires for our car. They broke a stud on the right front wheel. They were tossing it back and forth in the shop, laughing about it. Then they told me they didn’t replace studs-but I would be fine to drive it with four lug nuts. Cost me over $100 to have it replaced. Gave them a try-won’t be back.”
“Jabari is the only reason they lost a star. I appreciate everyone except him. The guy who checked me in stated they’d check the air in my spare tires as well as I checked in for a tire rotation and when I tried to move the items out of the trunk into the backseat he stopped me stating that the employees would take care of it. He was extremely nice and even met me outside to assist me before I could enter the building. As I watched them work on my vehicle I noticed each person working diligently except Jabari. He opened the trunk and then closed it upon seeing the items. Not only did he not check the spare tire, but he said nothing to anyone then proceeded to bring me my vehicle without mentioning the fact that the spare tire wasn’t checked. Had I not been watching then I would’ve never known. What you do when you think no one is watching means a lot. Caleb ended up checking my spare tire and was amicable and professional. Little things matter.”
