“I have been coming here regularly for over a decade. I love the location, it is very clean compared to others in the area, and I have always had friendly and efficient service. There was one evening about 2 weeks ago however, I went in at 7pm and went to go check out. The self check out was closed, and there was not an employee around to check me out. I stood about 15 minutes and just left and went to Walmart to get what I needed. Since this was an outlier compared to service I’ve had in the past, still wanted to give 4 stars.”

Their landscaping is mostly native plants, they sell healthy snacks, many of which are locally produced, and it’s clean, quick, and pleasant. It is no more expensive than other pharmacies. This place is a breath of fresh air.”

“I try to conduct all of my business with locally owned shops, but for some reason I have just always gotten my prescriptions from CVS or Walgreens. After finally having reached my limit with the big names, I decided to reach out to Asheville Mountain Pharmacy. Paul was prompt with his response and extremely kind. Not only is he way more efficient than any corporate pharmacy, but there is an added personal touch as well. I really can’t believe I didn’t make the switch sooner.”

“These guys have an amazing hometown feel, which can be hard to find in asheville. Their service is well valued by my family since 3 out of 4 are on meds. They present a very professional yet familiar atmosphere, and I have been using them for years now. Preferred by my Dr bc that's who her office usually uses. Right around the corner. They deliver when they can, they will fill when it's time, usually I don't have to ask, and they use distill packs, all my does for each day in a pack for a week. What a pleasure!!!Saves me a lot of time, and I'm always on the right day, if I forget, it's written on the pack!!! Thanks guys!!”

“I needed some elk, bison, and grass fed beef for a special recipe for our son. I couldn’t find the elk, but a wonderful employee, who knew exactly where everything should be, went above and beyond by taking out every package in the frozen elk row and found what I needed!Then, the young man at checkout was not only very pleasant and efficient, he actually did a perfect job of bagging the food! I had watched him bag for 2 other customers before me and he was careful with the produce and the more delicate items like eggs and bread!I wish I had paid attention to their names! This occurred on Sunday morning —the first gentleman was a tall man with light colored hair and the cashier had dark hair. I hope that management will thank them for me!”

“Ryan and Jamie are both wonderful pharmacists. I recently had a prescription that was sent to the Publix in Weaverville instead of South Asheville. Ryan immediately took care of the problem. He contacted the Weaverville store, told them about the issue, filled my prescription right there on the spot, and had me on my way in less than 5 minutes. Ryan is also excellent at administering vaccines. He is very gentle and I barely feel anything. Thank you Jamie, Ryan, and all of the Pharmacy team for all you do!Update 11/11/2021Jamie administered my flu vaccine today. She is also wonderful giving vaccines. I appreciate the care they put into filling and bagging my order!!”

I’ve been coming to this phamacy for years and have never had a phamacist as attentive and caring as Matthew. I’ve watched Matthew help a woman birth her child in the parking lot and have that child a sweater hand knitted before the paramedics could even arrive. He ran after me in the parking lot once just because he forgot to tell me to have a great day. I was in the drive through line once and I realized my tire was flat. Before I could even put it in park, Matt was walking around the building with a brand new tire, jack, and impact wrench. Absolutely incredible.
