“Oh man, where do I even start? I began shopping at OOT the year they opened, (over a decade ago?!) and I STILL have clothes from my first shopping trip there. That to say, the clothes they sell are such timeless and quality pieces, you will have them for years. OOT is always my first stop when I need (or want) new clothing and accessories. There is something for everyone, and at a wide price point spectrum. I truly admire the approach the local owner takes to running the business, and who doesn't love keeping things local? I feel very supported when I need anything, and the staff and models are all approachable and adorable.”

Once inside, a sincere welcome is received, and off you go shopping. The products are made with high quality in mind and there tons of variety for everyone. “Me and my son had such a wonderful first visit to The Fringe 17’ Boutique & Salon in Bismarck! My 2.5-year-old son got a haircut with Lisa, and she was amazing with him. His last haircut, at a different salon, wasn’t a positive experience—it left him upset and hesitant about the process. But Lisa turned that around and helped him feel so calm and comfortable. My little guy left looking great and happy! The boutique itself also has so many beautiful clothes and other items on display. I couldn’t resist picking up a turquoise cardigan that I absolutely love. Highly recommend this place for both salon services and stylish shopping!”

My wife needed to obtain alterations on her wedding dress a week before our sacramental marriage (convalidation) ceremony and Rebecca at Modify Alterations came highly recommended. “Clean and organized and with friendly staff. Very few people in there when i went at around 4 on a Saturday, which I loved. Only downside was the air quality. I it was almost too warm and no air circulation at all. Those I bought 4 shirts and maybe would have purchased more if I didn't want to leave to get in my air conditioned vehicle.
This store feels like the target of fast fashion. Old Navy to me is the Target of fast fashion and H&M would be Walmart.”
“I absolutely loved my shopping experience here! There are items for every situation you might have such as Baptisms and First Communion, but also regular items such as home decor, rosaries, Bibles, lotions and candles, coffee, toys, games, jewelry, etc. Without a second thought, I will always stop here before shopping elsewhere or browsing online. I love the fact that I can support a Catholic boutique while purchasing Catholic items/gifts from Catholic companies. The shopping experience is great, the owner lets you hang out and shop at your pace and is happy to chat if you desire or let's you shop alone if desired. I find something I've never seen every time I shop, and always has everything I need! I can't think of a more perfect addition to the Bismarck area.”

“I absolutely love Plato‘s closet in Bismarck. It has saved so much money for my family and I with getting super cute clothes at super reasonable costs. We always find something every time we go in there as there is always new stuff being put out and the displays are just the cutest. We recently went to Plato‘s closet in Fargo and it made me love Bismarck‘s store even more. Fargo was just packed to the brim with older styles, one dress smelled so bad- I couldn’t even try it on, and it just seemed so messy. Plato’s closet in Bismarck is so easy to shop and we love it so much.”

“I love this store, they always have such cute clothes and accessories, the only downside is that the customer service is very hit or miss. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and some are…not. I understand they’re mostly teenagers but cmon guys, it won’t kill you to be just a little more welcoming with customers.”
