“They made my experience buying shoes the best ive ever had
I came in 7/6/26 because i needed shoes for my job, I was irritable because i hate getting shoes for my monster feet and normally i am made to feel like a burden because of how hard it is to find shoes that fit, let alone that are comfortable. I brought my partner with me as well who normally absolutely will not talk to strangers under any circumstances. This whole outing flipped all my expectations on their heads! Chloe (i hope im spelling ur name right boo) and Clark (i also hope im spelling ur name correctly pookie) were absolutely AMAZING! We were immediately greeted and Chloe took the lead on helping me find my shoes, she was so patient and extremely knowledgable, she worked quickly and effectively, she explained everything amazingly without it feeling like she was calling me stupid. Even though she knew exactly what shoes would fit my feet and my budget she still tried things at my request and eased me into the choice she knew would work, and even tho theyre ugly (external metatarsal 🤮) she assured me its not my fault and i still have great shoe game and even offered me new shoe laces to replace the abysmal yellow ones!
Now on to clark, this man was hilarious! Somehow he got my anti social boyfriend to not only speak but actively conversate! It was truely a miracle especially since my partner was angry from situations that happend right before we walked in. Clark demonstrated beautiful active listening skills, he was funny, he was passionate, he was humble, and in general he made sure that we both felt comfortable and looked after even tho my partner was not purchasing anything.
Seeing Chloe and Clark work together was amazing, ive never seen a team better suited. Even while they were frustrated because of my particular situation they still took the time to listen to each other, and also check on us to make sure we were good. They did everything to make sure we got out in a timely matter (even tho we loitered on them comfy chairs for a while after) and were extremely attentive to the other customers in the store as well! I hate shopping for shoes but as long as i get to work with those 2, Red Wing will always be my go to for work shoes!

They are by far the most comfortable shoes ive ever owned (brooks beasts). The price out the door was 75 dollars cheaper then anywhere else in the city. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE”

This poor woman dealt with me for almost a full hour, and grabbed me upwards of 20 different pairs of shoes to try until I found a pair that fit well to try!! My daughter was here to find some Birkenstocks. Bid kids section with lots of stock - kids grow so fast they need replacement shoes often.”

One minor complaint. Because of the self-service style of this store, boxes of shoes for everyone to dig through, you really have to pay attention to what is in the box. I found a pair I liked, opened the box in my size, and found one shoe that did not belong in the box... wrong style and wrong size! Since the one shoe was correct, I went on an Easter egg hunt, digging through boxes of shoes to find its partner. It was oddly rewarding to find its mate and to fix another box of shoes.
The staff here are great. One in particular was very helpful to me, and I appreciated his assistance, the cashier was new and I could see that she was trying her best.
I suggest you check this place out. If you do, please don't mix the shoes around!”

“Awesome service and huge selection. Only place in town I've had luck finding the darn tough socks I was looking for. Brought in a pair of boots to get repaired, very friendly and willing to get me exactly what I needed. New lace loops, wear material on the toe, new sole, and widening the boot. The service is hands down the best in town. Highly recommend going to Gartner over any other place.”
