Great banking for the most part.Although ... their fraud detection is a little finicky; so if you don't mind your debit card being randomly frozen/dealing with getting it back up and running [without the luxury of 24/7 service to do so], then it's fantastic!But if you ever make purchases online and/or outside of U.S., be ready to need to unfreeze your card at any given moment on any day, at any time.

It is probably easier to get a hold of somebody in the White House than it is to actually talk to somebody from Alerus. Was on the phone for an hour and kept getting transferred and eventually the call would end.

1980's technology banking. Transactions don't show in your account for days or even a week after. Deposits from fortune 500 companies are held for days with no access to money. This means you have to keep your own balance sheet or you will panic looking at the inaccurate balance. NEWS FLASH! NO ONE DOES THIS! This kind of banking has been obsolete for decades yet they get away with it. Can't wait to change banks.

I went and asked someone to set up a time to talk to get an account there, i didnt get to set up a time cuz i was stolen by a guyy that was ready to work and obviously loved his job. He was nice so imformative and not only that. But he was open about his life as well as to getto know me as well. Great place, filled me in about interests n good qualities about getting an account there. I knowwhere im putting money as soon as i get some lol!!!

The worst support from the 32nd branch in my years with them. Will even take a veteran automatic deposits without even trying to help resolve obviously customer service error!
