I am getting SO sick of this. Multiple calls, multiple emails, multiple confirmations I don't have a unit anymore, multiple assurances a manager will correct their system, and multiple chances for them to get this right. Over a year after I left, signed the papers, and closed the unit with a 5 star review, I'M STILL GETTING CONTACTED about coming charges, unit incompliance, insurance lapse, etc etc.... Try it, charge me.

We have been storing house hold items for a family member at Five Star for two years and needed to down size our storage unit. They answered all our questions and rented us a smaller unit in the same facility in 15 minutes. Five Star is clean and well maintained. We have no complaints. Just ask for Zeb Kolle.

Easy as can be to get a unit at up. The unit was clean as is the rest of the facility. I would recommend 5 Star to anyone.

It was ok. The only thing I was uncomfortable was whenever I go there in about 6 minutes or often there's a truck gone by seeing what i'm doing. I know there cameras there and I'll get that. I was on hard times and need somewhere to place my stuff. Than one day a dude in his car told me we can't have any loitering and I get that but the fact is I was a paying tenant straightened out my storage and that take time. Yes i take a few breaks but that whole experience was cringed at most and it make me started comimg after hours due to uncomfortable some of the staff made me feel. I appreciate the storage but I had to move out.

The customer service was good on checkin. The issue I have had before that I thought they would fix is if you get an inside storage unit, they have pallets lined up along the wall for people to use. Which is great. But they have a designated unit for that. When bringing stuff to your unit they can be in the way when previous renters move out and leave about 12 pallets along the wall. In just my area there are lights that either are not working or bulbs that are burned out. Cleanup and maintenance is a simple a quick thing to do.

Going on 3 months not being able to pay online, still call in every month to automated system. Can't get a hold of any humans through any phone numbers. Prices continue to go up with no added benefit. Reminders to submit insurance with no clear way to do (except for going into the office which hours are greatly reduced, emails just get kicked back as undelivered). I just want to get up to do date and pay my bill. This process should not be so difficult if you want to get money from your customers.
My response:
The original email sent out said the transition would take days, not months and that's not even what I'm mad about. When I was finally able to get a hold of a real person, the experience was delightfully terrible. After explaining my situation multiple times, I was accused of not knowing how email worked. After about 15 minutes, the problem was solved. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT SENT ME THE WRONG EMAIL 3 TIMES. Even though I explained multiple times that the email was coming back as not valid, they insisted that it was my fault. I've included a snapshot of our conversation, again this 15 minutes in to being told, "you aren't sending an email correctly, here's the address again". Note there is no apology for sending me the wrong address multiple times or for the accusation I don't know how computers work.
After that problem was solved I was accused of not knowing how to reset a password. Again after explaining multiple times that when I tried to reset the password nothing happened (no security questions, no email, etc.) I was once again accused of not understanding A. how to locate the forget password button but also B. that I didn't know my own email. Again 15 minutes later, the customer service agent finally just told me what the temporary password was, and I was able to log in, reset my password, and pay my bill.
A 5 minute experience turned into 45 minutes of my time because your customer support was more concerned in my supposed non-existent computer skills, instead of actually listening to the problem I was describing.

I donât normally leave negative reviews, but I am very frustrated with this business. I have a storage unit and went online to pay for the month, like I usually do. The online system was not working and taking my card. I thought maybe it was a card error, so I tried my fiancĂ©'s card and a credit card, no luck. I tried emailing, and the emails never went through. I copy/ pasted the email address from the website. I tried calling EVERY LOCATION in the fargo area over the phone and no one picked up. I called all numbers all times of day and the phone would ring, and ring and ring then it would stop and say âthis call could not be completed as dialedâ. After two weeks, we got an email stating our storage unit accumulated some late fees and was up for auction. We were charged an auction fee as well. After weeks of calling, I finally got through to Kelly at a West Fargo site. Seriously, after weeks of calling. She said she couldnât help me get my unit back, reverse the fees or make a payment. She referred me to Amber at the 43rd st site. I drove over to Amber and explained my situation to her. She said none of the fees could be reversed, weâd have to pay amount in full (no payments) and had to pay all fees. I am very disappointed in how this situation was handled. I have no paid hundred of dollars over what I had to all because their online system wasnât taking cards and they werenât answering their phones. Like I said, Kelly picked up for the first time in three weeks and she still couldnât help me. I do not recommended this storage facility.
