These guys are thieves, they skim money from peoples accounts, then they start charging overdraft fees and daily charges. Stay far away from this company if you want to keep your money safe.

I am 6 months pregnant with my 3-year-old niece I just started taking care of. This bank has just been robbing me daily for the last 2 months and counting I went a couple dollars negative I had 6 days till payday a few auto pay things went through and I paid back every penny however I cannot afford the NSF fees I can barely afford to keep myself and this three-year-old fed as I cannot get government assistance because she is my niece and I don't have the proper documentation yet and so I can't even apply for assistance for myself because she is in my home. They have been charging me $8 a day for 2 months on top of at least 20 NSF fees from all of my auto pay things. I have begged them to close my account or suspended at least to work on payment arrangement with me anything and they refused. And now every single day it just keeps building and they took my stimulus check which was supposed to be a relief from the government as I was a restaurant worker who had to be out of work for a long time. I now hold three jobs and still barely making it because I have daycare costs and again paying for every single thing out of pocket with daycare being at least half of my income I make about $8 an hour and honestly cannot afford for this bank to keep piling up extra bills every single day on top of so many NSF fees that keep happening cuz they won't suspend my account and I can't keep remembering which places I have auto pay from because I'm so used to being able to keep up. I'm not sure what kind of people they are but I know that I could never do that to a person intentionally and or turn away when they're begging me for help. I would not bank here I would go somewhere where you're treated like a person and aren't going to get pounded into the ground more every single day after having a good history with them for a long time. not to mention the fact that every bit of money I'm negative is all straight up NSF fees and it's not even money that they paid the people because they deny the transactions and still charge me a fee of $32 every single time that means my $8 Netflix subscription cost is $32 extra and they don't even pay the $8. So if you can imagine I am being drilled right into this massive debt that I don't deserve over an initial overdraft of $12. Do not hang yourself trusting these people as I have. Go somewhere that is willing to treat you like you deserve.

Kaylee was amazing! I recently had to deal with fraudulent charges on both my checking & savings account. It was the worst feeling ever- but she made sure to close all accounts + set up new ones, dispute the charges and ensure I was in good hands. GateCity truly cares about their clients and I feel 100x better. Thank you so much!

Drive through has been horrible for the last few months. Long waits, cars arriving after you and leaving while you sit. Today they gave me my money and never asked if I needed anything else. Just poor customer service. Been banking here for years, hope things change. Quit disappointing!

I have been a customer for years but recently have had some problems with security of my account. so far I'm not missing money but I'm bothered by the fact that often I'm not asked for my ID when making a withdrawal. Also I recently was getting help making a deposit when the teller accidentally had me fill out a withdrawal slip and when i asked for the mistake slip she would not give it to me. she said she would shred it. I have no idea if she did. If I have the money missing from my account, I would have no proof it was a mistake. I feel this is extremely unprofessional. This was at the S Washington location in Grand Forks.

Save your time! Simple things like a deposit can take over 45 minutes. They are also completely inconsistent with how they do business.
