Asked about a cat to be an emotional support animal, the shelter recommended another cat instead. The cat had an eye illness, we were approved to adopt, paid fee, and send home with drops for her eyes. When eye drops were gone and eye infection was still there, we called. They had us come back in for more drops and stated they wouldn’t give us anymore after this. After the second bottle of drops the cat still had the same eye issues. When calling and asking questions, they asked if we had even given them? Also questioned the pictures they’d seen, as if we were just calling to make it up. When we asked about previous vetting information, they didn’t want to share. She developed worse symptoms, but after taking her to a vet, they told us it stemmed from her eye infection. We ended up paying a $200 vet bill to help our cat with an illness they adopted her out with. We love our cat, not her fault, but can’t believe she was adopted out with such an issue. Super disappointed with how they handled this situation. This cat was knowingly adopted out to a college student on a budget. Why they would adopt a sick cat out to a college student I still don’t understand… I recommend looking to adopt animals but I don’t recommend doing it here.

Called to inquire if they’d take a surrender cat and the woman said that unless i got it from them, they wouldnt take it. Then she hung up on me! HOW RUDE!!! Do not deal with these people. I think they run Cat’s Cradle as well. Cats Cradle had the same policy, so no wonder why people dump cats on the side of the road! The pound will only take strays and wont take surrendered cats!

Great place, they do a much needed job. Dropped off some dog food for large and small breeds, peanut butter and bleach. Just a small part to help. They certainly could use further assistance.

This shelter is great and the people working there are great. They have a great room for doing a meet and greet with the animals with room to play. I would recommend anyone looking for a pet to go adopt from them.

I tried calling to get info on my dog I adopted so I could give it to my vet... they don't answer the phone or call you back when a voice mail is left and they don't have in person visits so I couldn't go In and ask for the info I need.

I'm very disappointed in this shelter. I had to jump through so many hoops to apply and get approved for a dog just for them to give the dog away. They said the dog was on hold, I just needed to finish a few things and I did everything they asked for, just for them to give the dog I really wanted away. This was my first time trying to adopt a dog after owning my own dog for 7 years. I can see why people shop and don't adopt when they get treated like this. If anyone is trying to adopt a dog, please consider other agencies.

Best animal shelter EVER!!! Employees take the time to talk to you about anything. I gave up my cat 2 years ago and was wondering how he was. After wondering for months how he was I decided to contact the shelter and ask if he’s been adopted . Cat cradle put my mind at ease that he is loved cherished in a loving home
