After moving to the Fargo area, we tried a few different facilities, but none compared—Prairie Dog is truly a perfect fit for our pups. Whether it’s daycare, boarding, or grooming, we’ve had consistently great experiences across the board. The staff is not only professional and reliable, but genuinely kind and caring. They’ve worked patiently with our dogs, who are both rescues, helping them feel safe and confident enough to enjoy daycare, which makes bringing them somewhere outside of the home so much easier. They are always communicative and happy to answer my questions and address any concerns that arise. Our dogs are always excited to go, and we love all the extra touches—holiday events, themed parties, adorable yearbooks, and frequent Snapchat story updates so we can see our pups having a blast. While we do wish there were facility cameras for more peace of mind, the daily snaps are a great alternative. The groomers also always do such a great job with our pups and all their golden fur! Prairie Dog treats our dogs like family, and we’re forever grateful for the care, support, and love they show. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for their four-legged companions. ❤?

Our worries were put to rest though, as the staff were kind enough to send us an update, and C.C. was clean, happy, and seemingly stress-free upon our return! We opted for the new vet as we got a $25 credit if we made the apot with her. They were very thorough with the initial assessment and provided vaccinations. They provided helpful guidance. The location was easy to find and close to our home. Parking is adequate. The place was clean and orderly.

Our dog needed hospitalization, but we were updated at least twice daily - which we really appreciated. The technicians and staff were all attentive and very kind. We would recommend Red River Hospital to anyone who needed medical treatment for their precious pets. Dr. Brook St. Germain and Dr. Carver were absolutely wonderful. In all honesty, the complete staff showed kindness and empathy. How professional, knowledgeable, and kind everyone was. It all came together perfectly, with Elsie back at home and doing really well

Prairie Winds Veterinary Center
5370 51st Ave S, FargoIf I could give six stars, I would. We came over to Prairie Winds from our regular vet for specialty Dental care, and Dr Eric was AMAZING. Everyone we worked with (front desk folks, vet techs, Dr Eric), was kind and loving and supportive. They made us both feel safe and cared for, and made sure I understood all the steps of surgery for my senior dog. You never want to have to take your baby in for something big, but when you do, this is the kind of environment you hope you get to be in. So, so glad we found them.

Valley Veterinary Hospital
3210 Main Ave, FargoAll of the vetrinarians, vet techs, and staff are very helpful at Valley Vet. We’ve had spay surgery, they found an issue with my little fur girls teeth before she reacted and we had that surgery. They showed an explained what they did, called me 4 times to update me during the day of the surgery, called the day before to make sure I understood, gave me follow up instructions with cost estimates along the way. They hooked us up with the right food for one of my dogs after nothing was working to fix some symptoms she was having. I trust their recommendations fully and they do a thorough job at wellness checks to make sure we catch any potential health concerns before they turn into issues. I think their prices are fair from what I’ve checked. I’m sure there’s always someone cheaper, but I’d bet on Valley Vet being top 3 if not the best for care in the area.

By the end of the basic class she was an awesome student and learned so much. They use clicker training and positive reinforcement and it worked so well for Zula. This year we got a Labrador puppy (Goose). He did both puppy classes and I feel they are really going to set him up to be an amazing dog. He learned a lot of skilled like being introduced to new objects and vet equipment, how to play with other dogs, and basic commands. I will recommend anyone with a dog to give them a try.

Benny did the day training program with Hailey and he has shown growth with his confidence, problem solving and engagement with us! We also were able to learn so many things in order to be the leader our highly energetic, busy boy needs in order to be successful in all environments! We received pictures of our dogs and cat while away and nice messages about how they are doing. Pick ups and drop offs were a breeze. At one point we had a home stop in to check on our cat while having our dog stay with Happy at Home at her place. Fargo is lucky to have this service!

3521 39th St S, FargoI boarded my five cats with Fetchers for over 3 weeks. They were amazing. They were polite, professional, friendly, and most importantly they treated my babies like their own. They were well fed, well treated, well loved, and had a great time. I was sent picture updates every 3 days with little messages regarding their stay and it was awesome. They even kept them for an extra night so I could arrange a proper pickup. I would recommend boarding your kitties with Fetchers if you’re concerned about leaving your kitties for a long period. I had to take this trip and I was so concerned for their safety and wellbeing but Fetchers made it easier to sleep at night knowing my kitties were well taken care of and loved. I would definitely recommend especially if you have multiple kitties. Thanks so much Fetchers!

The place smells amazing when you walk in, like fresh bread and sugar. Prices are fair for the quality. Would definitely come back to try their coffee and a few other desserts next time.

They take great care of the dogs. Ace goes there for daycare and boarding. Recently, Ace boarded at Rainy Days for about four weeks and he had a great time there. We are happy to have Rainy Days in Fargo.
