Dr. Harris was unwilling to listen to my concerns, my husbands concerns, or my adult son's concerns about my husband health and we had multiple visits. He did not even examine him just told him he needed to lose weight. We went for a second opinion and that doctor with 10 minutes realized my husband was retaining fluid. After 2 month of diuretics and 2 procedures to take fluid off his core he has lost over 150 pounds of fluid. he wasn't fat he was swollen and would have died if we had not gotten a second opinion. I would not recommend them as they decide what is wrong without really listening to you and this mistake would have been fatal

If you are female - avoid this clinic!!! I understand that 30-50% of women are commonly misdiagnosed for depression despite intense physical symptoms. However, I came to my appointment with positive labs looking for a second option. Dr. H didn't even give me a chance to discuss my list of physical symptoms before claiming I was simply depressed. Extremely disappointed. Why can't the medical professional get its s**t together !?!?!?!??!

Got a referral to see physician here to just get another referral to see someone else! This should have just been a phone call.

Dr. Bauer-Olson is an incredible doctor, and she truly listens to any concerns you have. The level of care and attention she provides is appreciated!

I had to call over to Plains Medical regarding some faxes we had sent (in relation to a mutual patient). The staff member whom answered the phone seemed unprofessional and dismissive to the request. It may have been she was busy or what ever. The person answering the phone to a business is portraying that business in a positive OR negative light.

I was referred to Dr. Hoadley Harris by another doctor. I called and made a new patient appointment and asked the fees for an uninsured patient. I was quoted $150. Arrived at my appt was ignored for 20 minutes when I asked if someone was going to assist me. I was told I was not seen there sitting directly in front of the window by two ladies sitting behind it just 10 feet away. When I arrived one was on the phone the other was not and neither acknowledged my presence. The two front office females that were at the window that clearly couldn't be bothered with the patients. I again informed them I was a new patient and didn't have insurance and they asked for $150.00 which I paid. Saw Dr. Harris with a plan for labs to be done a little over 3 weeks later. I arrived at my appointment 3 weeks later and again, I felt like I was a bother. I told them why I was there and they asked for $150 again. This was a follow-up lab test with no need to see the Dr. so I asked them why. Someone else was pulled up (probably an office manager) who had the same demeanor as the other ladies in the front and they proceeded to inform me that not only does this visit cost $150 but I owe $200 from the first visit. WHAT? How does an office during these times start gouging a patients wallet that has no insurance. If I had insurance, it would have cost me $35 copay and the insurance would have paid them $80 (I've got paperwork proving this). I would have not been charged a follow-up visit for the same issue. The reason they gave me was that's how they charge new patients without insurance. They make them pay $150 up front and then charge then $200 when they walk out the door and send them a bill (which I conveniently received that very same day in the mail) then apparently charge you out the 'you know what' once they realize you're paying cash. I wasn't about to pay $350 more for a simple lab test and will not be returning and I recommend you seek out providers who are a bit more caring about not only the patient, but the patients situation. I don't expect free services but I do expect reasonable costs. My chiro prefers me to pay cash instead of going through insurance and I know why. They get more than insurance gives this way and it's less than my copay would have been and the paperwork is minimal saving them time and resources. I'm out $150 and have to start over again with a new doctor and still have the issue I went for the first time. Thanks Plains Medical. Stand up job!

If you're tired of corporatized medicine, you need to check out Plains Medical. I never have to wait more than a day or two to get in, the care is personal and professional. Last fall I tore a rotator cuff tendon and it took ELEVEN days between the day I called the office to set up a consult to the day I had shoulder surgery. I called and got in on Mon, had an MRI (also independent) on Tues, saw the ortho surgeon on Friday and had surgery the following Thurs. If I had gone through Innovis or Sanford, it would have been 3 weeks just to get the MRI. If you want prompt, professional medical care, the independent clinics are the ONLY way to go.

A wonderful Family Practice Group in Fargo. I have been coming here a few years now and you couldn't ask for a better medical practice. The providers (both MD and Advanced Practitioner's), nurses, and staff are truly wonderful. They are always current on the latest technology and treatment options. If you are new to the Fargo area and are looking for a new provider or want more of a personalized provider interaction that larger medical groups don't offer - schedule an appointment at Plains Medical. Superior medical care from immunizations to more advanced medical conditions.

If you like being treated horribly, incorrect billing, staff that belittles you (I was even told “It’s not my fault you can’t afford your bills” and was called “poor” when I called about a bill they sent to collections without ever contacting me that I even had a bill) this is the perfect place for you.
