*Everything* you're buying can be found on shein for cheaper. The things marked as vintage aren't actually vintage. Severely under pays employees, demotes employees for being disabled, keeps store under staffed and forces heavy workloads onto management without compensating them. Hides behind the guise of a hippy frienly safe space, while only sourcing clothes from mass production facilities overseas, and under paying employees.

This store was very cool. I didn't make a single purchase but was very impressed by the content. It was hard to decide, so I walked away from it empty-handed. Unfortunately, I live in another state and won't be back for a while.

went in to find some new clothes for my friend, found some cute pieces and i waited outside of the dressing room while she tried them on. a short, blonde employee came over and was very obviously watching me while i was passing the time on my phone, so i went to browse while i waited. as soon as my friend exited the dressing room, the worker immediately came up to her and took the pieces from my friends hands. the worker called us both over to “talk to us”, immediately accused us of stealing and taking tags off of things, moving hangers, which is “intentional when you’re trying to steal”. we tried to explain that we hadn’t stolen anything, we didn’t mess with anything that my friend hadn’t taken to try on, we even offered to let them search us. the employee threatened to have us escorted out by security if we didn’t fess up, she made a huge scene in front of the whole store. my friend and i explained our side of things again, and i mentioned that there were two other girls that had been in the dressing room next to us a few minutes before, but we didn’t touch anything besides what my friend brought into the dressing room. the worker then said that she would have to go and talk to her coworker before this could be figured out, we followed as she went to talk to another employee. the other employee immediately said that it wasn’t us, she already had the other girls on the cameras. suddenly the blonde employee was being super nice, but she had already ruined our shopping fun at that point. as someone who’s worked almost extensively retail and customer service positions, you really shouldn’t accuse customers of stealing until you have even a shred of evidence. i’ve been shopping at ragstock for years, i love the store, but i don’t think i’ll ever shop here again.

good clothing but horrible workers. one girl with glasses and curly short hair started an argument with my friend and threw hangers at her durning the checkout process. later in the month i came with two other friends she apparently did not like. she proceeded to find another supervisor or coworker and made up a lie to get us removed from the store. this has happened multiple times to multiple people. she has also followed a friend and me around the mall and cussed at us. really disappointed to see such a good store not discipline or do anything about this coworker. this used to be my favorite store and now i do not feel welcome or safe there at all. will be in contact with human resources if this problem continues.

It's like the store can't decide if it wants to be like Forever 21 or a thrift store. Either way, things are super expensive, even though you can tell many items are not very high quality, or would sell for a lot less at a true thrift store. The sizes are usually pretty small as well, making it harder for people larger than, say, size 6, to shop here. This could just very well be my own experience, but I didn't enjoy it all that much.
