Beware of what you are telling eye doctor while getting exam. My husband went in for exam only. While exam was going on he happened to mention something about a floater in his eye. So instead of billing his insurance for a routine eye exam, they billed it as a medical exam. When he left with his receipt it showed the normal 0 balance like it normally does. Then almost 2 months later we get a bill in the mail that we owe for the exam. His insurance denied it because they billed it as medical and not routine eye exam and he had not met his deductible. He only went in for the exam because they kept calling that he was overdue for exam.He said he would have never even mentioned the floater if he would have known they were going to screw him out of his free exam. We called to complain about this. They don't seem to understand that he only went in for the routine eye exam. UPDATE....as you see I got a response on my post. Have yet to hear if this issue will be resolved.

I had a great experience at Shopko Optical on 25th Street South in Fargo. I stopped in shortly before closing to look at frames. Annette was so kind and knowledgeable. She stayed open late for me and helped me select a pair of glasses and authorized everything through my insurance. Sale explained the differences between lenses and also quoted a couple different glasses for me. I didn’t think that the fantastic level of customer service that she gave existed anymore. I couldn’t be more impressed. I strongly recommend Shopko Optical on 25th street South in Fargo. They have a nice selection of name brand frames at affordable prices and the customer service cannot be beat!
