We are so pleased with our 4 week training at Smart K9 and highly recommend them. We went to them with a high energy mini goldendoodle that needed our constant attention with play. Smart K9 introduced strategies in which our dog could pacify himself and activities that satisfy him with mental exercise over physical.

Smart K9 Training is AWESOME! Our Miniature Bernadoodle Molly did a board and train in November. She was very pushy, mouthy, couldn't walk her without being pulled down the sidewalk, now we walk without being pulled. Walks and home life are changed forever!! Thanks so much Smart K9! WHY A BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST? Behavior Specialists are able to read and understand canine behavior beyond public knowledge. Behavior Specialists can work with either dogs and owners that have already developed some type of negative behavior or owners who want to work with their young dogs to prevent behavior issues from occurring in the future. All of our programs are structured around communication and leadership first, because no amount of treats or toys can make up for a lack of trust, understanding, or respect. Due to the complex nature of the canine mind, we don’t advocate any single training method or tool. Each dog must be evaluated individually before the most effective method can be determined.
