We came here on a mission to find a few items and ended up being here for 20 minutes longer than we wanted. We found most of what we needed, but self checkout lines were slow and kind of a pain. I didn't realize there was a regular checkout on the other side of the building. Their signage could be improved!

Fargo Target is becoming like Walmart. Order pickups are taking 3+ hours or more to fill and they literally throw things in your car. The people they are hiring could careless about anything and they all look unprofessional. I placed a pickup order of 10 small items today at 6pm and it wasn't ready at 9pm. So I called the store to ask when it was going to be ready and the lady said, "It's super busy and we are 3+hrs behind on order pickups, thanks for your patience." I then decided to go to the store and pick the order myself. When I got there, the store was dead. Parking lot had maybe 10 cars in it, but yet they were "so busy." I brushed it off and picked my items, went to the order pickup area to tell them the order was picked so they could mark it off, and they refused. Told me I had to cancel the order and go checkout. I flat out said, "I just did your job for you and you can't even mark it as picked since I already paid for it?" Nope. This usually wouldn't bother me, but Target places a hold on your card and it doesn't come off for 3-5 days, even after canceling an order. We are broke the last 2 weeks of every month and didn't really have the funds to cover the items, so naturally I was upset. I have never been one to ask for a manager in my life, I hate "Karen's" and ppl who complain about everything, but sadly this time, Target made me become a Karen. I had to POLITELY ask for the manager because something so simple was just too hard for them. And to make matters worse, the manager came walking up with security! I was just standing there with my cart of items, my phone with the Target order pull up, and my husband next to me. We are small, non-violent people with anxiety disorders and ASD, but Target felt the need to be super cringe towards us for no apparent reason. We both felt incredibly threatened by this and as my ASD husband stood there with his head down, like he did something wrong, I tried to my best to explain everything while trying to hold back a panic attack. However, the Manager, who was wearing so much perfume that she set off my husbands ASD and gave me an instant migraine, said the exact same thing as the 14 yr old kid at the Order Pickup - BUT in the most condescending, unprofessional way. I'm only 40 and I don't understand why everyone feels the need to talk like a dumb blonde valley girl?? "Like, OMG, Like we can't do thaaaat, Like it's on a system, Like Have a Nice Daaaay!" It's not attractive and its COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. It's not cute. It's just makes you look and sound like an idiot. Sadly, your 10 gallons of makeup, hair product, and perfume doesn't help much with your lack of professionalism either. Target use to be my favorite place, but now, I completely loathe going there. But when you go out of your way to humiliate a customer for no apparent reason, that's when you lose business.

A few months ago I experimented with Target's drive-up/curbside ordering process, for the first time. When I received my order I was missing a bunch of items, only to check the Target app where the employees canceled my items in the name of "items not in-stock". I was never informed, texted or called, for replaceable items. Today, three hours ago, I placed a home delivery Target order (for the first time) only to find out that they don't have half of their items in stock: coffee creamer, lettuce, tea bags, and milk (-$15 their loss). Moral of the story, if you want grocery items do not rely on Target stores to have accurate inventory levels reflecting their online systems. I would rather shop at Walmart than to give Target another chance. At least Walmart will substitute your missing items with another item at no additional cost. Target will just cancel your items, and won't even apologize. Lol What a joke.

Is anyone reading this at Target HQ in Minneapolis? If so, could they check on the progress for allowing an electronic system for food stamp payments to be processed for in store pickup and drive up orders? This same system would allow me to pay with food stamps for Shipt. It's now in my area and I'd like to take advantage of the free 4 week trial, but I want to wait until they have the technology to process food stamps. WM already has such a system, that you enter your food stamp card, once, then every subsequent time, you just enter your food stamp pin code, and then the order is placed. With such a system, the only money I have to spend at Target would be on hard goods or tips, if they are required or expected. I suspect that their rule that you can't use manufacturer's coupons for drive up or in-store pickup is arbitrary. That there is no technological or legal impediment to allowing customer's to use coupons. I'd like to see this offered to customers. Maybe, they think it would involve additional training, which would expensive. Otherwise, it is just one piece of a strategy of discouraging the poor from shopping here, to make their middle class customers feel more safe and secure. So, they don't have any ugly, rotten poor people here. The Target is clean, well stocked and the workers are friendly and helpful.

The women's bathroom has been in disrepair and disgusting for as long as I remember. At least 5 years. Every time I go in there there is toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor. It smells like p*** every single time. It's gross. The rest of the Target is wonderful. Just fix the bathroom and clean it more than once a month, every few hours if you have to.

Covid check OUT. Early morning is to be reserved for elderly and people with health issues. That wasn't the problem at 0800 on a Sunday.. the CHECKING OUT was the issue!!!! The ONLY check out was CLOSING and I was forced to get "funneled" through a walled area., trapped in self check out, close contact, no air flow with the walls of self check out. They were NOT going every other self check out like other places... soo all these self check outs were FULL. Than people passing right by you and next to you.... at least if a couple REGULAR check outs were open, you would NOT be side by side at any time. There would also be, barriers BETWEEN you and the next sides... on either side. In addition, with employees let go or reduced in hours... why not at least have 2 regular check outs open. Most all were wearing masks.. but some NOT covering there nose.

Quick visit inside again to see if I could grab some supplies, and found a few, toothpaste up front, the soda in the back ($10 for 4 10-packs was nice), and picked up some gifts for the people I was visiting, and a reasonably good selection of Pokemon cards for one young man who loves them. A shop that still has photo machines up front to print your orders. Checkout was a bit on the slow side but the person scanning was pretty cheerful. Looking for staff was a little bit of an effort (they don't staff as much to save money?) but eventually found someone that helped me find a couple things. Starbucks up front. The parking lot has entries off 45th and 13th, but depending on which way you need to go, check out the lights and watch your directions (the streets are divided on 13th).

I've always loved target, and recently they've been stepping up their game. Things have been reorganized to be easier to shop, and displays have been updated by a lot. The beauty department got a face lift (pun intended) with new shelving and so many new products and brands. The target app was updated to include items locations and if it's in stock. Makes for a great shopping experience!
