“This place is amazing!! Such a hidden gem even the locals don't even know how lucky they are!! I will be traveling the 2 hours to visit this place on a regular basis. This is a great combination of thrifting, vintage shopping, oddities and stuff for people with great sense of humor. Go in if not to meet the robot that follows you around the store if you are lucky enough to see it!! Check this place out!!”

“I love popping into this store whenever I need a little pick-me-up or a fun gift without spending too much money. It is packed with so many cool gadgets, snacks, and decorations that I always find something I didn't know I needed. The aisles were pretty clean and organized, and I didn't have to wait in line very long at all. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to browse when I just want to treat myself to something cheap and cheerful.”
Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
