Opened a joint account that went well for the most part.2.Having issues withdrawing.The 2nd time I was greeted very politely and welcoming. She was well mannered also very helpful. Her name is Madi the 32nd Ave location. Reason I’m here is to make sure her work ethics and manners do not go unnoticed. “We’ve had a lot of experience with banks, from the smallest rural credit unions to giants like BOA and Wells Fargo. Never have I been treated better as a new customer in my life. We signed up for the 100$ new account promotion because of recommendations from friends in the area and they were absolutely right: this location rocks!
Their corporate phoned customer service isn’t an Indian call center (no shade to them, but let’s be real, communication is usually poor) and helped me with getting into my online account in under 10 mins. My card was printed in-person by the teller (super convenient) and their wait times are usually minimal. Nice lobby too!
The biggest win is that I tried to get an auto loan with my bank of 10 years (Dakota Community) and was offered worse terms, terrible interest rates, lower financing amounts, and they never even called me back after submitting the app. We’re going on 6 weeks now. As a brand new 1-week customer with Gate City, my husband and I got excellent terms, a great interest rate, and excellent service. Denae was absolutely STELLAR. She was so personable and we purchased and drove our new car home by noon the same day. I’m just shocked how easy it was and how pleasant she was to work with compared to our other bank we’ve been loyal to for so long.
I have nothing but good things to say about Gate City. The app rocks, the website is always functional and fast, employees are always friendly and don’t seem like they hate their lives. All of the wins with tech from bigger banks and customer service from smaller ones, with none of the downsides. It’s just the best banking experience I’ve had. Thanks again Denae! :-)”

“Very nice establishment with extremely friendly and helpful staff that makes you feel welcome and at home. Spacious 2 story bank with an open area when you walk in. When the cookies are freshly baked, the place smells amazing. The cookies are also really good. They have multiple lanes for the drive thru. The inside hours are different than the drive thru hours.”

“I cannot recommend this branch enough! If you are looking for exceptional customer service please ask for Desirae at this branch. I have been fighting with US Bank for almost 7 months now with my IRA. I even visited the other branch in town and got no resolution. “This was an ATM trip. There was no line, which is normal during the middle of the day on a weekday. They have installed new ATM machines which are much more modern.I like the new option of withdrawing cash in $5 increments as well as having the option of what currency the bills are disbursed. In the past 4 $50 bills were disbursed when withdrawing $200 with no option.”
