“Northern Roots Boutique is always one of my stops when I go to Grand Forks. They sell quality brand clothing with the Liverpool brand being one of my favorites. Store owner, Kay Derry is an amazing person and very community oriented promoting all small business not just her own. She also has a store in the Bully Brew location in Park River, ND. One of my favorite things about the store is the honest opinions of the sales people. If you are questioning something, they will give you their honest opinion, they don’t push you to buy it just to make a sale.”

“Super quick shipping! Lovely note and cute earrings as an extra. Was looking for a size up for my daughter in a certain print/brand so we could reuse some of Christmas jammies from last year for a matching family photo and so happy I stumbled upon this small biz! Thank you!”

“Awesome customer service! Was greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The gentleman (Ben) that helped us was very nice and found what we needed right away. Probably one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a long time. Keep up the high vibes Ben?”

“This is my go to place for my Ecco (sp?) sandals. they always have good sales! Don’t forget to get that super wick sock. It really helps your feet feel better. I just learned you need to clean your sandals to keep them in better shape and last longer and I got the stuff to do it so if your feet are getting sweaty as feet usually do go get some sandal cleaner. Don’t forget the deodorizer that’s a winner in tennis shoes, but it works for sandals to, and they always have sales. School is coming. Best place to get shoes for every kind of kid. They have all of the brands. And they are attentive to you and listen. Brooks that’s my tennis shoe. They have the cutest shoes for your kiddos, but don’t take my word for it go down and check it out yourself. This trade home shoes is in the Columbia Mall right next to the pretzel maker.”

“Nice store! I stopped in to check this place out. This is probably a better place for my wife to shop. Kittsona is certainly geared more towards women. Men, come on in a find something nice for your wife! Due to lots of windows and natural light, place was very bright, and quite clean. Women's clothing and many small gift ideas are presented around the place. Staff was very kind and personable.”

“I have purchased at least 2 dozen of the cloud walkers extra thick heel cushions and they were the only ones, after trying dozens, that gave me comfort in walking in any shoe. Not only did they provide the extra padding that was needed for thinning heels, but they didn't take up too much room in the shoe and they can be used with sandals. Although they can be removed and reused, it doesn't work for all fabrics. I went back to the shoe maker where I bought them and he has informed me that they aren't being made any longer. They only have the sure fit for the ball of the foot. IS it true or can I buy more of them? Help! Merle”

“I told him I wanted a specific sole in a pull on style. He did warn me it was only available in steel toe but he had my size in stock. He had me do the foot scan to make sure my size was correct and what insole he recommended with the boot. Overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend.”

“Great store, I have bought boots, hats, shirts, and leather care items. Their Cody James brand seems pretty nice.I prefer their colognes over other stores. I have found that the fargo location is typically $15-$30 cheaper for boot and hats.”

“Always like to stop in to this store and check things out when we're in town. Stopped in today and ended up getting three pairs of shoes at a reasonable price. There were no sales going on at the time unfortunately but that's just the way it goes”
