These guys are awesome! I made a 3hr trip because safelite employees are trained on how to remove glass in the safest manner and with minimal damage to your vehicle if any. These guys were working hard and diligently. My new windshield is set and I'm ready for winter! Thank you gentlemen so much! ?

Due to all of the road construction in town, I’ve had a few small chips hit my windshield over the last several weeks. I opted for a replacement because of the number and location of the chips on my windshield. I made an online appointment through my insurance company (the only easy part of the process).I called to confirm that there was a drop box for keys and it took a half an hour for a call center representative to say that “there should be one”. Getting a local person on the phone is nearly impossible.I dropped my vehicle off the night before my appointment and dropped my key in their unsecured Mail Drop at their shop’s front door.The next morning, I get a message from Safelite that my windshield arrived broken and they didn’t check the shipment until it was time to start the job. I’d wasted a day off of work (and so had my ride), but things happen.I went to pick up my vehicle and when I walked in, my key was just sitting on the customer counter, where any of the customers in the lobby could just walk out with it. I picked it up and waited for the employee to come back, so that I could advise him. He proceeded to try to talk me into repairing the chips instead of getting my windshield replaced. I told him that the repairs would still be in my line of sight, so I preferred a new windshield. He reluctantly placed a replacement order for my windshield and scheduled me for the following Saturday.I called late Friday afternoon to confirm, but could only reach the call center. By the time they placed me on hold and transferred me, it was after 5:30pm. They said that my windshield “should” be in, but that if I wanted to ensure it - that I would need to call in the morning. I called at 8:05am and the local rep confirmed that it was in. I advised that I was on my way (I was 20 minutes away, on Minot AFB). A few minutes before I arrived, I got a text stating that my appointment was cancelled. I called back and the same rep that I’d advised that I was on my way at 8:05 said the appointment was cancelled because I wasn’t there at 8:00am sharp.After spending an entire wasted day off, another trip to/from town, and countless hours trying to get a local rep on the phone - I’ll just schedule my windshield replacement with a company out of town.

I’ve used Safelite before, at other bases that I’ve been stationed at over the years. It’s always been an easy process. They’ve even come and replaced my windshield at my house. The Minot location has been an entirely different experience though. The Safelite locations that I’ve been to before were nice and clean. This place looks like a run down Jiffy Lube. Getting someone on the phone is like pulling teeth and they’ve cancelled our appointment twice. Why wouldn’t they check that they’ve received the correct glass or that it wasn’t damaged before the appointment time?

My windshield had a stone chip. I was traveling across the country, and wanted to get my windshield repaired asap. The technician told me to contact my insurance company to book an appointment. I explained that I didn’t have time to wait - I had to be back to work in two days and I was over 1000 miles from home. I was quoted $180 to have the stone chip repaired. The same repair is only $75 in Canada (which equates to about $55 US).So, I believe that the reason they wanted me to book it through my insurance company was so they could charge my insurance company $180 for a job that’s only $55. Otherwise, I believe they thought they could take this dumb Canuck to the cleaners.Came home and had a local company take care of it for $75 in Canadian funds. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.

I brought my Toyota Tundra in September 19, 2022 for a windshield replacement. I waited the 2hrs for the install to happen, Shop employee pulled my truck to the front door didn't say s*** about breaking my monitor, I paid the Manger Brad my $100 deductible on the spot. Got home, went to back in my driveway and I found that someone took their thumb and ripped my back up camera monitor off the dash and a giant thumb print breaking my screen. Not a great thing to find. I was very patient until today, That night, I called Corporate and talked directly to the Manager Brad the following Monday. At first he was very apologetic, I'm sorry, blah blah blah. He asked me to come Monday so he could assess it which was inconvenient cause I was moving to Texas the next week. Yet I did it. Yep he saw the big thumbprint and my monitor laying on the dash. Asked me to get a quote and send it to him and he'd get it taken care of. Quote was for $600 from Stereo City. That must've been too high for Safelite which is a joke cause I'm the one losing. So he got a quote for only the monitor and install. That came at $240. I said fine whatever, send the check, I'm moving and want it fixed. It's October 14th, 2022 and still have not received my reduced check for the damages. I've reached out to the Manager Brad multiple times and he has not stopped responding to me and I've been very respectful. I've been professional, patient but, I'm already in Texas and still out my back up camera. It's now been a s*** experience. This is the first time I've ever reviewed any business publicly. Sad. Today I've asked for his Supervisors number twice respectfully and nothing. It's been a month and I have nothing but a broken back up camera. Highly recommend any other shop in Minot. If a company is at fault, admitted to it and then does nothing, likely not the place to go. I will get my check and I will be calling Safelite Corporate Monday and providing my entire text conversation with the Minot Manager. It's just stupid it has got to this point, sad. No reason it had to get to here. I pd for my windshield that day and a month later I have nothing!!! Saturday 22Oct22 Update After posting this, I was contacted by the District Mgr William within 48hrs. He apologized for my experience sincerely and had a $600 replacement check sent to me overnight, it arrived 21Oct22. Excellent Leader, Safelite is better because of him! I thank you William and Safelite for making a wrong look right!!!

This location was friendly, available for any question we had, and very informative! We stopped by to see what they felt like was best for a crack in our new vehicles windshield and they guided us through the process. We were able to come to a decision and had it fixed the next day while we waited. Great experience!

Nothing wrong with the establishment itself. Id say more so the prices, god they are terrible. Wanted to replace two front windows in my truck and they were charging 800 dollars. Super nice people but whoever sets prices for them needs to reconsider. Cost of materials shouldnt be near as expensive as what they're charging. The local family owned autoglass shop charged me half the price for the same job... :/

This can't be a Safelite facility. It has got to be a CON, a rip off, they must have stole the Safelite sign. They have the name Safelite but they operate worse then a used car salesmen. If you for some reason still decided to go to this location make sure you check on the prices of ODM and after market as i was not told from the jump. Took the car in after making an apt to Safelite Minot ND and when I arrived it came out that Safelite ordered the wrong windshield. I took time off of work another time only to be disappointed yet again with a call while I was headed to the Safelite location that the windchild was not in. Then another apt but at least I was called prior that the windshield never made it due to delivery issues. Took my business elsewhere and had the windshield replaced before Safelite could figure out how what was going on in there end. Safelight is a great company when managed correctly, this one needs an inspector to come up and figure out what's going on and why they are dragging the name Safelite to the ground. Was talking to someone about Safelite today and was told when he took his vehicle to Safelite the rep. Crashed his vehicle into another vehicle. He said it got fixed by the company but what is going on at this Safelite location.

My windshield got cracked on the way to work at 5:30 AM. I noticed this at 9 AM when I was getting ready to leave work. I contacted my insurance and by 1130 I was at safelight. They did a superb job and were very kind people!
