“We chose this place over a motel hoping to get a cleaner room. We were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, quaint, and old fashioned. We didn't see the owner and it seemed a little unfriendly as they were not there after 7pm. or around before 8 in the morning. Check-in was easy. Powers Lake is beautiful and within walking distance. Both of our rooms had old coffee grinds in the coffee maker which was a bit disconcerting. Overall we were happy with the stay. It did seem a bit overpriced, but perhaps we are not used to traveling.
Safety: The shower faucet in one of the showers is backward. Hopefully, no one gets burned.”
