About The Historic Hygge Hotel
The Historic Hygge Hotel is a great and excellent place, offering a unique experience. The hotel is clean, quaint, old fashioned, and super clean, providing a relaxing and quiet atmosphere that feels like home. The rooms are super comfy with super comfortable beds. The on-site cafe and coffee shop are very good, with excellent food, a good selection, great quality, yummy coffee, and really good coffee. The service is excellent, friendly, and shows great hospitality, with management that is great to deal with, friendly, and respectful. The hotel is within walking distance of beautiful Powers Lake. It is perfect for travelers crossing the border, being the only place near crossings. Check-in is easy and the internet is good and fast. Some minor notes include that the owner is not present after 7pm or before 8am, which can seem a little unfriendly, and an occasional maintenance issue like a backward shower faucet. Some may find it a bit overpriced. Overall, guests are happy with their stay and would go back in a heartbeat, making it the best place to stay.

All around excellent place. Food was excellent, the service was excellent, and friendly. Coffee is really good. Second visit for me and will be back.Food & drinks: Great food, great hospitality
