“Had a great experience at the DoubleTree in West Fargo. I especially appreciated Linda as a bartender! She made a great espresso martini and was incredibly friendly, efficient, and kind.”
“I didn’t get a chance to stay here, but they were honest about their pool not working and gave a time frame on how long it’ll be down for.
Honest people at the front desk, offered a full refund with no extra fees, also they were understanding if we needed to book elsewhere.
Next time, if the pool is operating 🙃 I’ll definitely be staying here! 🙂”

“Donaldson hotel is in downtown Fargo. The hotel is very modern and upscale. The bed was extra comfortable and wonderful. The room was huge with a very large flat screen TV and sofa. The bathroom had a dressing room antechamber with cabinets and counters which was nice. The minibar serves as a small frig in the room.
Breakfast is modest. It's coffee and pastries in the lobby, a light continental. At 5pm till 6pm, they offer free wine and cheese also in the lobby.
The hotel is downtown and doesn't have it's own parking. There are several garages nearby and parking is about $8/day. But free on weekends. Overnight is free at some locations. There are several good restaurants nearby, including Blarney Stone Irish Pub inside the hotel. My only gripe is that they only clean-make up the room every other day.”
“If I could give service more stars, I would. We came up from out of state due a family emergency (loved one flown to the hospital). A friend of the family had made the reservation for us and if I could give Akin (staff member there) more stars for service, I would as he figured out and fixed the mistake our friend made on the reservation.
This is definitely where you want to stay if you have a loved one in the hospital or if you’re just in Fargo. The hotel is spotlessly clean and practically inside the hospital (easy walking distance). The food was good quality (for three stressed out family members who hadn’t eaten). After a day of worrying about our loved one, we got good drinks at the bar. Checkout at noon was very helpful. This is one of the nicest Courtyard by Marriott hotels I’ve stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many for work.”
“This place is such a gem! It’s unique, well done, and a breath of fresh air. I stayed the night in a very spacious, clean, and totally cool room. Check-in was a breeze because the directions were simple, clear, and consistent. I enjoyed two meals from the nice variety of restaurants and did some needed gift shopping (which I know my peeps are going to love). Everyone I interacted with was super-friendly, helpful, and flat-out kind. When I pass through Fargo again, this is where I’ll be staying, and I’m looking forward to it.”
“This is a fabulous place of you are going for a wedding or other event in downtown Fargo. If you simply want a place to stay, it is way overpriced. It offers a great bar and restaurant, but doesn't have even a minimal breakfast for guests, not even free coffee in the lobby. Housekeeping is every three days, the pillows were small and uncomfortable, and there are no simple amenities you take for granted in cheaper hotels like q-tips, make-up remover, facial soap, etc. The staff was helpful and super nice and there is much to love if you are willing to pay for it.”

“Great Hotel, I stayed there recently and I dont have not one complaint even though I couldnt figure how to work the thermostat, I called front desk and their maintenance guy David was there not even 5 mins later.

“We have stayed here several times, as Fargo is a frequent stop on our drives to visit family. The service stands out among other Fargo hotels — staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy. On our recent trip, we had our new puppy with us, and we were grateful to have a pet-friendly place to stay. We also found it pretty quiet even though it was fully booked with folks in town for wrestling.”
“Came in here this morning to learn if they are hiring for Guest Services/Front Desk Agents.
Adam was cheerful, energetic, and kind; I learned that although they are not hiring, their sister and brother hotels nearby, Delta and something else, are hiring and even told me that the manager of Delta is in the building now.
Wow, if Adam treats me so well when I'm not staying here, I can imagine how well he will treat you when you do stay here.
He went further and offered me some high quality water to slake my parched tongue.

“We did a gender reveal at the delta in the etude 2 room.
Del was so awesome. She was there for everything from when we looked at the room to booking to the ending of our party...
Id definitely come back to the delta to have another party..
The banquet server was awesome as well.
Del does an awesome job at what she does . A very positive attitude and caring bout everything.
We invited her to come watch the reveal she took a group picture for us ..
She made the big day amazing and not stressful at all.

“I never rented a room.I walked into the hotel to use the bathroom as my husband was making a delivery there. I was having chest pain and an Asthma attack.I had to use the bathroom. The receptionist Jasmine asked me if I was okay, she was concerned about my well-being.She went above and beyond her duties.And I wanna give her recognition that she deserves.Thank you Jasmine. 8:26pm 5/24/2026”

“Rooms could use a slight fixing with certain things but honestly it didn’t bother me enough. It’s soooo family friendly. Games up front in the lobby. Pool was great for the kids and must be somewhat heated though not advertised as so but sometimes pools say they are heated and not as “warm” as this one. Bed were amazing though after driving for 20 hours we may be just excited to sleep. Haha. Definitely bookmarked incase we come through Fargo again!”
“I knew this is a 3stars hotel and understand how much I pay for it; therefore, to rate it fairly is important. Check-in was smooth and Anthony recognized me as a royal member at check in was very professional. Libby , breakfast, and room are all clean and tidy. Check out was also friendly and helpful. When I told her one hook in my room was broken upon arrival, she took a note on it. For a three stars hotel, it is a standard and worthy stay.”
“This was my second stay at Willow Inn & Suites in Moorhead, and I was genuinely impressed. I was in town touring colleges with my daughter, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short drive to the campuses we were visiting.
It looks like the property may be under new ownership, and the difference is remarkable. The hotel felt refreshed, clean, and very well cared for. From the moment we checked in, the staff was welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Our room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless—exactly what we needed after long days of touring schools. Everything felt updated and thoughtfully maintained, which really stood out compared to our previous visit.
Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely choose Willow Inn & Suites again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Moorhead area, especially if you’re touring nearby colleges!”

“It’s a nice smaller sized hotel, friendly staff and decent parking. Room was clean and quiet. Only complaint was the small selection of breakfast items, supposedly a group came before we came down at 8:20am and cleaned everything out so maybe it’s not always like that but they didn’t restock it.”
“I was in town and picked Comfort Suites. Checked in took less than 10 mins. My room was on the 4th floor. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good. I wish Comfort rewards points never expired like BW.”

“My first room they gave me was janky as heck, the cabinet for the fridge was barely hanging on, the drains in the tub and sink did not work, and regardless of your room the hot water takes around 5 minutes to get hot.
However, the staff there are amazing, they got me a new room immediately, and the new room was way better than what I'd got at first. Vending machines leave something to be desired, but McDs is right next door, Perkins Restaurant is maybe 2 blocks away, and there are dozens of delivery options. I stayed here for work assignment and this place is perfect for that.”

“The wonderful lady that works the overnight shift (it was a Tuesday I stayed) was absolutely wonderful. She made my stay more enjoyable. She went above and beyond the average customer service duties. I will definitely be staying at this location when I am in Fargo again and I will definitely be recommending bison inn and suites to friends and family. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay 😁”
“The Woman at the front desk was very nice. Accomendated our needs (the TV didn't work in the 1st room). My only complaints are the beds were not very comfortable and you needed a debit/credit card for the vending machines. Other than that was good.”

“After my experience with a really bad reservation place, I saw this hotel and it looked nice and clean. The owner was so helpful, the rooms were very clean, neat and simple! Omgosh what a blessing. I felt safe and was treated so kindly. After booking at a hotel that was not this I was so thankful to see and be treated nice. Shower was Awesome! Bed was great and people so kind and polite. “In the grand scheme of hotels- this checks all boxes. Family of 4 was very comfortable for a weekend visit to Fargo. Breakfast was great, pool was a hit with the kids and the rooms are awesome for multiple nights. Extremely accommodating experience that didn’t leave us with a need not filled. Will return next time we come to Fargo. Whether it’s family, solo, or for business trips- Element is a great option.”
