“If I could give 10/10, I would. I went with a massive amount of linens to wash and dry myself and it's been over a decade since I have used a laundromat, and never to this extent. I cannot thank the owner enough for his patience in helping me, answering my questions, grabbing me more loonies and more. Even with a family emergency, he made sure I could finish my wash, knowing my time crunch. Superb place to go.”

“I popped into the convenience store one day on my way by and the pizza smell made me want a 2nd supper. Finally made my way back over. Ordered a pizza sub, a steak sub, and a pizza, and all were amazing! I’ve never even eaten a 12” sub in one sitting before but I ate it in 10 mins or less. Soo good and will be back soon!”
“They always have what I am looking for and then some. I can usually find some hidden snack that I didn't even know I wanted. Prices are great too! Staff are all wonderful.”
“I’m originally from Texas, but I’ve been staying at my family’s place in Hammonds Plains for a while. I’ve been going to the Esso here the past few days, and there’s a guy working the afternoon shift who has the best customer service. He always has a smile on his face and is very decent and respectful. I also noticed he was working on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, which is really motivating. He truly sets a great example, and I genuinely hope he gets what he deserves.”

“I frequent this establishment on a fairly regular basis since moving to the area a few years ago. A charming little store that everyone seems to like when I bring them to it. It is always well lit, clean, and organized. Often see the staff cleaning/dusting/sweeping/mopping during down times The vibrant colors help it stand out while still seeming warm and inviting. Prices are a little higher than at chain stores but that's to be expected with any corner store. They're not outrageous by any means that's for sure. They even have pre-made meals (seems like they have a full kitchen in the back) that again are reasonably priced and taste great. A couple of slushy machines that always seem to be working and they have smoking/vaping supplies if one is inclined to need such things (smokes themselves seem cheaper then average too). Nice bench to sit outside across from the park and even have a nicely labeled recycling compost and garbage bin. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. There have been a couple of times where they've gone above and beyond to be nice (give me a bus ticket instead of having to break a 20 and once allowed me to take my items and come back and pay later that day because I had foolishly left my bank card at home. Not saying they will do this for everyone but it certainly made my days better). I hope that even if I moved out of this area someday I will still be able to get here on a regular basis. It really is a gem in Dartmouth.”

“I used to live in the neighbourhood for years. Don't stop in as much these days, but the owners remember me and greet me like an old friend. They make a point of asking how I am doing and notice when I havent been around for awhile. All of the employees give great customer service”

“I give it 4 stars because this location is nice and clean, fully stocked and the staff are good. Only problem is that the staff are always on their phones and they are talking to other people in the middle of my transaction. Not just one occurrence but many times. It’s confusing and it’s hard to tell if they are listening or not. I don’t think staff should be on their phones while dealing with customers period.”
