“Homesense and winners, you go and find stuff a few times a week. My entire apartment is from homsense, winners, marshalls or tj Maxx, it's all the same. I like going through and finding things. I don't usually buy clothing here, but I do buy shoes and home items, I buy a lot of gifts here too and pet stuff. I always spend at least 20 mins in these stores unless I'm specifically looking for 1 thing. I love this store. Lol ?”

“Beautiful craft store in downtown Halifax with unique handicrafts and arts from local artists. Very neat and modern display. Prices are a little high but totally justified. We were visiting and every time we passed by, we could not resist but enter and pick a thing or two. Highly recommended if you're interested in pretty little pieces of art!”
“God bless urban outfitters for contributing to keeping Barrington street alive. They remain a go-to for popping in when we are in the area to see what vinyls they have in stock (usually a different selection than Taz which is cool). Also have genuinely good sales on discount items making expensive clothes pretty cheap.Always like to have a good "mall store" easily accessible and right downtown for a change.”

“The manager of this store was exceptional. I purchased a small item from that store and accidentally left it at the store. Almost a month later, after I still could not find the item, I decided to call the store to see if I had possibly left it there. At that time I spoke with the manager, who pleasantly took my information and offered to return my call, either way, to let me know if they had found the item. Shortly there after, the manager called me to inform me the item was left at the store, and it was put aside with my name on it, so I could go pick it up. I was so thankful, that as a customer, I was treated in such a respectful manner. The other staff at this store were also very helpful. For other purchases, I will definitely make this store my first choice.”

“Whenever I take a trip into the city, I always look forward to visiting The Independent Mercantile Co. - It could be at your 1st time visiting for your 20th time, the staff is always happy to greet you and is super friendly, I could definitely spend hours browsing throughout quirky, yet useful products. As someone who has a home bar, I always look forward to seeing the amazing inventory of barware they have, including several types of bitters and sought-after, Luxardo cherries.
