Value Village, a Savers brand, is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Their Rethink Reuse® business model of purchasing, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop and keeps more than 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. They also help more than 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods from them, which provides a source of revenue to help supports their vital community programs and services. Value Village operates over 300 locations and has 20,000 employees. Customers have had a mixed experience with Value Village. While some appreciate the eclectic and charming selection of clothing, accessories, and household items, others find the prices to be unreasonable and higher than brand-new items in other stores. The staff members are generally described as super nice and helpful. Some customers enjoy the thrill of finding unique, vintage, or damaged items that they can repurpose or refinish, but note that Value Village is not always willing to reduce prices on such items. Overall, Value Village is seen as an affordable thrift store with a good selection, though the pricing and stock refreshment could be improved in some locations.
Smaller value village...... Don't forget it's not a charity. Hate it’s all self check out. Free product to sell and free cashiers……what do they actually do?
