Dartmouth Book Exchange is a cozy treasure cove and a hidden gem on Cole Harbour Road. It is amazingly well stocked with a great variety of high quality used books and new local author books, offering something for everyone. The store is clean and the books are in very good condition. It is the perfect place to browse for a next read, with favourite sections including manga, romance, and local writers. The staff are over and above knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The store continuously supports local authors and organizes many fun ‘bookish’ events, including a Local Book Club that is a community feel monthly gathering. The atmosphere and energy inside are great. It is a wonderful spot for your next great read all year long, with great prices compared to chain book stores. It is impossible to leave empty handed.
