“In the midst of another winter storm, what a perfect time to cozy up inside & read a great book! And where would you go to find cozy & wonderful reads, other than the Dartmouth Book Exchange on Cole Harbour Road? It’s amazingly well stocked with something for everyone. No need & impossible to leave empty handed! Their specialty is in both high quality used books & new local author books for the avid readers. The staff are over and above knowledgeable and helpful. Owner Amy McIsaac even recently tracked down a book for me at another local bookstore! And Store Manager Sue Slade has created a Local Book Club that has developed into a community feel monthly gathering, along with organizing many other fun ‘bookish’ events! Both Amy & Sue are capably supported by the lovely Erin, Kiara & Sydney. So, if you’re preparing for our next winter storm and out shopping for storm chips…add a visit to The Dartmouth Book Exchange to your list!
