40 Water St, DigbyMost of the places in the Digby-Yarmouth region are closed for the season in the winter or for the holidays. Not this place. We drove through a harrowing snowstorm for two days, and caught the Saint John-Digby ferry just in time. Made a beeline to the Shore Thing. The host was almost in tears telling us that he had no tables for us, but to come back in 45 minutes. So we did. Once again, a huge bowl of the best chowder ever. All was right in the world.
