Global Pet Foods Saint John East
80 McAllister Dr Unit 5, Saint JohnThe staff here are amazing. They never cease to surprise me with their thoughtfulness and willingness to help, in any situation. The staffs product knowledge is above and beyond whenever we have a question about anything in the store. They always have a smile on there faces and are willing to get down to the dogs level and make them feel welcome, especially the little shy ones. This store sets the precedent for customer service in my opinion.

Pet Care

Loch Lomond Veterinary Hospital
1964 Loch Lomond Rd, Saint JohnOur 10 year old Huskamute mix had a slipped disc in his neck back in April 2025 and with the amazing knowledge, care and help from Dr. Downey and Dr. Colwell our boy went from no feeling in his legs and no walking to running and playing with his brother again and enjoying his best dog life again. We are forever grateful to these two veterinarians and their staff for saving our boys life!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

WOK IN Asian Cuisine (west)
391 Lancaster Ave, Saint JohnHad a really great experience at WOK IN Asian Cuisine today! The food tasted very authentic and reminded us of real Chinese home-style dishes.
We ordered the sweet & sour ribs, Chinese sausage fried rice, Yuxiang eggplant, and Mapo tofu — every dish was flavorful, freshly made, and well balanced. The Yuxiang eggplant and Mapo tofu especially stood out with rich authentic taste. Portions were generous and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
Definitely one of the more authentic Chinese restaurants we’ve tried in the area. Will come back again!

Stone Soup Cafe & Catering
139 Prince Edward St Suite 216, Saint JohnAt work today, there was a 1 hour presentation with coffee break provided. The presenter selected Stone Soup to cater. There was an excellent selection of muffins , pastries and cookies and an exceptional brewed coffee. 100% would recommend reaching out to Stone Soup for the next event.

Picaroons General Store
32 Canterbury St, Saint JohnIncredibly friendly, informative, and accommodating staff. Parking is close and in a great location for downtown activities. Seating is slightly limited in-house especially for groups but they share the dining area with Pomodori Pizza so you're sure to find a spot between the two areas. The atmosphere is great and their local brews seem to be a hit. I really enjoyed their Man's Best Friend as someone who prefers dark, stout drinks. I hope to come back again to try some others!

Wasted Day Brewing
36 Water St, Saint JohnGreat spot for a quick pint or simple cocktail in uptown NB. It is only steps away from the cruise ship terminal so it's a great spot to have a rest while exploring uptown whether here for tourism or a local just going a for a walk.
They have an excellent happy hour each day until 6pm which offers $2 off a pint or glass of wine. Their beer list is extensive and they also offer cans to go for purchase.
They do not sell food regularly but you can bring your own food if needed.
In the summer they have a great little shipping container outside where you can sit and enjoy some fresh air inside (somewhat shaded) or up on top (in the blaring sun). It is a very popular spot though so get there early!
The service is always great. Everybody is truly so friendly and it is easy to feel at home there.
Although I don't have a dog, I appreciate that it is pet friendly and I can meet lots of furry friends. My only criticism is that the view from outside isn't too notch right now due to construction but that is 100% out of their control and will hopefully be resolved in the near future. It is absolutely still worth the visit.

Lemongrass
1 Market Square, Saint JohnNice restaurant in the market square that serves Thai, Indian and other foods. We had the Chicken Makani and Chicken Pad Tai. Both were delicious and there should be a side of veggies for the Chicken Makani. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The view of the water was a little obstructed if you are seating in the indoor patio. Overall, a very good dining experience.

Lily's
55 Lake Dr S, Saint JohnMy husband and I stopped in at Lily's last Saturday afternoon after a morning of walking around the waterfront, and we were so glad we did. Our server was wonderfully attentive and even suggested the lobster bisque, which turned out to be the best either of us has had in years. The dining room had a really warm, relaxed feel to it, perfect for settling in after a long day of sightseeing. We will absolutely be coming back the next time we find ourselves in Saint John.

Second Cup Café
16 King St, Saint JohnStopped in on a beautiful windy day while ashore from our cruise. The shop is clean and spacious, the staff was friendly and the coffee was good. Had a cup of dark roast with heavy cream.
The Wife had an Italian cream soda that was rich and delicious. We shared an Oatmeal Cake, seen in the photo. It was different from anything I have had before but was delicious and not overly sweet.
Come visit this place.

Cora Breakfast and Lunch
212 McAllister Dr, Saint JohnWe visited on March 22nd. The restaurant was packed and our server, Kat I think, maybe Ken. It was a shortened version of her name.) She had blond hair. She was so nice and made sure we were taken care of even though she was run off her feet. (All the servers were!) I cannot say enough good things about her. Also, Ben was very kind when greeting us and as we left.

Delta Hotels Saint John
39 King St, Saint JohnDelta Saint John is actually the first Delta hotels that I lived since I signed up the Marriott Bonvey. I must say the experience is good. At first glance I was a little worried about if the safety is an issue since it is connected to Brunswick Square mall. But in fact is not. The service is pretty good. Logan is a nice outgoing lovely awesome person. Helped me the entire way whenever I have a question or want to share some thoughts. Thanks Logan for the exceptional tremendously wonderful service that’s been provided. Another gentleman that is working during my check in process his name is Robert. He is nice enough to guide me the areas where the specific room is located each floor and also nice enough to tell me the policy of hotels ordering taxis in Saint John (which is the night before your schedule transportation time). Dinner is good. The burger and Salad is all good. Breakfast is good too. (After I tried I will update my feeling about it). But overall it is a nice Delta hotels that I tried and a special thank you to Logan and Robert. They are awesome ?. Finally they have tones of plugs for charging your device. The room that I got had 2 on the desk lamp; 4 on the desk level and another 2 each on each side of beds (depends on if you get a 1 King or 1 Queen or 2 Queen, I think 2 Queen and suites might have more plugs) Finally the other staff named Angus he is very nice and outgoing too. Very nice gentleman provide lots of information and very helpful. And restaurant staff Charlotte is very welcoming lovely and offers a tremendous service yesterday breakfast for me. She’s such a lovely welcoming person. Also Thanks to Charlotte too for the exceptional service during breakfast time.
