“Took my wife's van in for problems with the AC. They quickly identified the problem and offered repair options that were cost effective given the age of the van. I was really pleased with the service, the price options were fair and under what I was expecting to pay.

“I can't thank Kevin and the team at Motor Tech Pro enough for their excellent service. I was having some issues with my car and had called several shops, all giving me high quotes, which was just too much, especially right before Christmas. I was feeling pretty stressed and honestly, a little hopeless.
Then I called Motor Tech Pro and got Kevin on the phone. From the start, Kevin was patient and kind, unlike the other mechanics I had spoken with, who rushed through the conversation. He took the time to listen as I explained the problem, asked thoughtful questions, and helped me understand that what I thought was the issue probably wasn’t the case—especially since my 2020 Kia shouldn’t be having that particular issue.
Kevin wasn’t quick to make assumptions like other shops, which I really appreciated. After I had my car towed to Motor Tech Pro, Kevin called me just 33 minutes later with the results of his tests. He explained that the issue was the battery and that the engine oil needed to be changed. I agreed to go ahead with the repairs, and to my surprise, my car was ready for pickup by 2:34pm the same day!
I didn’t expect to get my car back so quickly, especially with other cars in the shop. Kevin’s great customer service and attention to detail really put me at ease. Thank you so much, Kevin, for your honest, professional service. I'll definitely be returning if I need anything else done to my car!”
“We were visiting from out of town when our truck broke down unexpectedly. Traveling with a small child made it an extremely stressful situation, and every other shop in the area turned us away with a wait time of at least a week.
Despite being extremely busy, this shop was the only one that took us in. They diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly and professionally. Because it turned out to be a minor fix, they even took care of it free of charge. Their kindness, honesty, and incredible customer service saved our trip. We cannot recommend them enough!”

But I got a flat while up in Sydney travelling up from Pictou County and I wanted to make sure my tire was fixed professionally since I have a baby. He did just that. 10/10, made it home no problem.But thumbs down to Sydney for having no mechanics open on a Sunday. People could use the help!”

“Knowledgeable service with a shop that took the time to find all the problems.
The nicest shop we never hoped to meet while on vacation from the states. Our truck broke down an hour away on a Friday afternoon and from the first call, it was clear we had the right place. AJ towed our truck (with our bikes on top) our camper and all 4 of us to Sydney, recommended a local campground that still had availability, helped us make sure the camper was setup and unload the bikes before taking the truck to the shop. Super service after hours on a Friday. The shop diagnosed the problem right away the next week, but the parts were on back order from the manufacturer. Additionally, while they had the transmission out they checked everything thoroughly and found another problem. Fixed up and it’s all like new, just drove it back home 27 hours and no problems.
The breakdown certainly wasn’t what we had planned, but when a shop could have turned down the work for out of towners, or charged us a ridiculous sum (what else were we going to do anyway?) they kept it thorough and fair. And they were great to work for the whole process.”
