Where it all started for The Bank of Nova Scotia in 1832. Of note they had offices in the Caribbean before they had a branch in Toronto. Lots of history in this building. Former head office before they moved it to Toronto. If you like old architect cure it is worth lookin at.

Beautiful old historic building, service levels and speeds not up to standard. Very slow service and insufficient staffing for a downtown location, not a great experience waiting 20 minutes in a line of three other patrons.

They are severely understaffed and the hours are ridiculously inaccessible for people with full-time jobs. I waited over 25 minutes just to choose a PIN for a new debit card, with only one customer in front of me and one person helping at the main desk. They had only 2 working card machines in the building.
