Ordered a new bed that was to take two months to deliver, the next day I received an email saying it would be later than the scheduled delivery.
Three weeks before it should have arrived, I recieved a call saying it was ready to be picked up(My order was to be delivered.) I'm told repeatedly that my item that I've already paid for will only be held a week or will be sold to another customer. I asked to speak to someone else on the matter because this seemed out of place.
Talk to the manager Olivia to be told that, no, this is all correct. Its company policy that items will not be held more than a week after the store received it regardless of the scheduled delivery date. If an item sells before it's delivered, the customer is completely out of luck because everything, even paid for items are all sold, first come, first served.
Anyone else find this policy to be a little suspect?
I was assured customer satisfaction is cared about but was also told that "these things do come up."
Buyers beware, just because you give them your money doesn't mean they won't up and sell your new item to the next guy who walks in and takes it.

Terrible Experience with The Brick at Chain Lake Drive, Halifax
I purchased a gas range and refrigerator on October 15th and was promised prompt installation and removal of my old appliances. Here’s what was promised:
Installation of the gas range immediately after delivery date being set for October 18th, ideally by the weekend.
Removal of my old gas range during installation.
The problems started right away. When I tried to schedule installation, I was told the installation team doesn’t work weekends and won’t remove old appliances, contrary to what I was told. The salesperson apparently didn’t “fully understand the process” due to being new according to the store.
What followed was a disaster:
October 21st: Installation was postponed due to the wrong technician being booked.
October 23rd: Installation confirmed for October 25th, Paid installation fee. called back to store with refrigerator delivery and
old gas range being picked up set for October 26th.
October 25th: Technician NO-SHOWed, with no follow-up from The Brick.
October 26th: New refrigerator was delivered, but the old gas range couldn’t be removed as the installation was incomplete.
It’s now October 29th. My gas range still isn’t installed, and despite multiple calls, there’s been no solution or communication from The Brick. This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, with endless delays, broken promises, and zero accountability. I regret ever trusting The Brick with this purchase and would advise others to avoid them if they want reliable service.

Went in to buy a firm , thick (10" +) all foam king size mattress.
Tammy, was very helpful in explaining all the various options they had and answered all the questions we had.
Once we decided on the one that met our needs, the pick up at the warehouse in Burnside was a breeze, friendly lady at reception and helpful guy to load in my SUV (came in a box).
Once we got it home and opened the box, unfold it and let it rest for a couple hours.
After 3 sleeps , we are very happy with it.
Strongly recommend the Bricks and Tammy

Box came in. Think it was already assemble but you have to so it yourself. Men were courteous and friendly and loved dogs.
