“I had originally purchased a power loomed rug because it was more affordable. While it was gorgeous, I kept returning to the website to view the hand-knotted rugs. Ultimately, I called Tabrizi to request a return, and they were very accommodating. I ended up purchasing this vintage hand-knotted rug from Iran, and I couldn't be happier. If I can give any of you a word of advice, it would be this: you are better off investing in a true work of craftsmanship that will last you a lifetime than a fossil fuel byproduct that will end up in a landfill in a few years. If your budget can allow it, you won't regret supporting skilled cultural artisans and their local distributers. Thank you, King!”

Also found that all the staff were pretty chill and not making spending the money feel stressful. “This is where we will purchase pewter from now on. We purchased a number of items at Amos Pewter-Halifax. When we got home from our cruise we found that one box of earring inadvertently was not included in the bag. I contacted Amos and explained the situation. Not only did they send a replacement set immediately but they sent two sets because the first one was tied up in US customs. Exceptional service before and after the purchase.”

“A small, gift shop with art prints, ceramics, and other displays made by the locals both here and around Halifax. It was very quiet and not crowded at all, when we visited. The displays are in a spacious, clean well-kept area with staff present and greeted us. There were a few products that caught my eye, too. It was a good 10-15 minutes of browsing Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc.”
“This is my happy place! Truly the best small business in Halifax! It’s female owned and run, the gals are so sweet and have an eye for what looks just right on every figure. Everytime I’m in they have just the right recommendations! TRUST THEM when they pull something from the shelf for you to try on (even if you’re unsure, trust the process!) Very fair prices for quality goods. I have clothes, dresses, rugs, phone cases, coasters, stickers, books and trinkets (&more!) from over the years of being a loyal shopper and everything is still pristine! “We were looking for living room furniture and had great help from Clarry Robicheau. He was very knowledgeable about all the products. He was very welcoming every time we went into the store. He gave us all the time we needed for choosing every piece we would choose.
