“I love this store and how they use the money for bibles. Unfortunately they have no change rooms which was a little bit sad. I still try on the clothes over top of my own clothes. They prices are so cheap. I bought 5 clothes for $35. If you donate there you will get 10% off. They also have free biblical resources like bibles at the exit. Parking lot is a decent size. I will be returning. I will not let that put me off. They are doing great things! There is always deals so you can save even more money! I volunteered at the first one that opened in Ontario and was so excited to see one when I moved down to Nova Scotia!”
“Great store! Loads of amazing finds with many designer purses. They have everything. Customer service was great! Both of the workers were very sweet and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend.”
“Great store with lots of things to look at. Building is fairly accessible friendly to get into the store. Lots of things inside though that one would have to move around.”
“Excellent little consignment store! A range of prices, but I managed to find a beautiful dress (that I've received lots of compliments on!) for $150 when I retails for well over $1000!!! The cashier was super personable and nice, and while the store does have small stock, I would absolutely visit again just to see what's new. Very happy to find a store that doesn't mark up vintage/high end pieces an exorbitant amount like a lot of other consignment stores in the Halifax area.”
“Love this store. We make sure to donate all our unused, but gently used items. They can use the profits for their mandate while others enjoy their economical purchases.
I recommend that others donate to a good cause as well.”
“Way better than the village of values! And this goes to a charitable end rather than simply pockets.
The content is also better quality and they keep it organized well.”
“Despite the reviews I decided to give the place a chance and stop out. Ended up buying a hat and having a chat with the nice lady who owns the place. lots of neat little trinkets and clothes! Don't be afraid to leave your comfort zone and shop at a thrift store!”
“Not bad! Like most thrift stores it’s very hot out mid and the prices can be a bit inflated, but you can define gems if you’re timing is good (re: 45$ Dyson vacuum)”
“I used to shop here very often. Now that prices are way too high I only stop in occasionally. There is a good selection of items but beware that some items are cheaper bought new. They over price many items.
I like to shop for unusual vintage items. And arts and crafts supplies. Things I can repurpose or alter to my liking. So sometimes even if a little table is in rough shape, I can refinish it and have a unique piece! VV is not always on board to reduce prices when you find something that’s damaged. BUT, I’ve managed to do so a few times. Just be matter of fact and courteous. Especially on unique items that many would not know if something is actually missing or damaged. It’s all in the “trill of the hunt…” Happy thrifting!”
“It's a massive place. You can find a lot of stuff you might need around the house. However like any other value village clothing it's way too expensive. Given the fact that everything it's donated it's outrageous that stuff people really need and can't afford is so expensive.”
“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE!!! Find the best deals!! All the staff are wonderful and helpful and all around good people!!! I love coming here!! If you haven’t checked out this place go now and do it !! You won’t regret it! I always find something there lol (kinda a bad thing for my wallet?)”
